The birth of promise
When the time of the promise drew near
Gen. 15:1-7
What was the promise?
God gives them a visual to remind them of the promise.
He gave us communion to remind us, give us a visual of the promise
Abraham didn't have any kids, but God gave him a promise
When our faith runs short. We become desperate.
Gen. 16:1-4
When our faith runs short and the time runs long we become desperate.
- we get cloudy in our brains
- if we seek counsel God will use people to tell us this is dumb(we need to get counsel)
-Sleep with maid servant
- In their cloudiness they thought this was a good idea.
God keeps His promises, even when we're dumb Gen 17:1-8
The enemy doesn't want you to believe that God is coming through on the promise.
Some take always when waiting for the promise:
• Don’t create your own destiny... wait for the promise. Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you.
•It's ridiculous hard to wait
• Remember God's creativeness isn't restricted!
He can make something out of nothing.
•A lot of times our promise seems restricted by the natural laws of life.
Everything the world says can't happen CAN HAPPEN WITH GOD.
Doctor says you can't have kids
Hold onto your promise
Faith hold onto your hope
Celebrate the coming promise
Nurture your hope and quite yout skeptic.
Come to the mirror and quite your skeptic
Enemy says: "can't you see your promise isn't coming. "

The enemy wants to make you feel completely alone. DON'T LET THIS PROMISE BE STOLEN FROM YOU.
He works all things together for the good of those who love Him.
