Austin Reeds were a top=top tailors, they had shops in all the large cities. To have a suit made by them would cost £600 to £1000 . THey also sold all mens clothes including shoes all good stuff. That is how smart you looked. My comment was a compliment.

Looks like a fantastic event, fascinating how they work - always fancied making a steam engine from a kit. Dan, you look very dapper and Mazzy you look stunning. Those steam engines bobbing about were great. Fantastic weather too! You wouldn’t expect to see them with tax discs on but suppose that would be the case. Decent selection of food stalls - wood fired pizza sounds great after your game curry. You’ve fell on your feet there! Loved the mini waltzers. I had one of those torches which I picked up from a boot sale years ago, no idea what happened to it though. Lots of really interesting bits there. Would have loved to have gone as it looked great. - assume it’s an annual thing? Really enjoyed watching as looks like fantastic place to visit - thank you - enjoy the rest of your break and look forward to the next one - all the best, David & Rachel 👍❤️

Hi Dan, Raleigh Bike Company sold the Chopper. I had the Mark 2 version when it came out back in the early 1980s. The steam rollers were used to flattern the tarmac. Great video!

Chopper bikes were indeed made by Raleigh, the Tomahawk that you saw was the junior version of it for smaller kids hens no gear stick.

The steam rally looks good fun, you could of got me a hot dog or Hog Roast, enjoy yourselfs it looks like it is going to be a nice weekend. Just emagine if you could sell your van and buy a traction engine and a caravan that you tow, the money you would save on diesel and road tax "Yust a thought"
