I've heard the Black Fountain pedal from Old Blood Noise Endeavors do amazing things to a guitar sound. It's basically an oil can delay/reverb simulation. Would love to hear what it can accomplish on a keys rig...
I just purchased a used Yamaha PRS s670 used, sounds good. But I don't like the speakers all that much and the sustain ( I do have a pedal with polarity plus I can change the sustain some on the controls of the onboard Yamaha settings) . My question is, if I get the Big Sky or a similar unit, what do I need to connect it to? I mean from the keyboard out to the Big sky...but then from Big Sky to What? I have a Desktop computer with 3.5 mm jack for my PC speakers. Will that work? I'm no sound engineer, but I want to have a great sound when I play my Yamaha Keyboard. Do I need to get an AMP, or a set of other kind of speakers? Someone please advise. Thanks!
I see you have 2 cables plugged into the keyboard from the big sky and another 2 trailing off screen. Where are those plugged into? Is it a mixer, and will it work if I don't have a mixer. Is there a tutorial of how to plug and set up this box to a keyboard
Can anyone help out, one thing I’ve noticed about my big sky pedal is that it looses my piano quality while connecting it to the Big Sky Pedal. Im using 4 Mogami cables, 2 L&R from my StudioLogic Numa Piano X GT and another 2 for the pedal unit. Ive noticed a loss of quality sound and it does not sound as clear as when connecting from my Numa directly to my digital console. Love the big sky but its frustrating hearing lost of sound quality 😢
Great video David. I still have my DX7 but don’t have my ARP Odyssey anymore. Wow what a great pedal if I were to use those again. But MainStage is so good and nice and light portable I’m staying with the MacBook or IPad rig. Lol. Thanks for sharing this !! Well done.
Great video! I was bleeding and retreat a while back and I so desperately want to borrow one of these petals from one of the guitar players on the worship team who wasn't at that event! I never did it but now I know why I wish I had!
I don't think I have to tell you guys again but I will. You guys rock! You guys are always coming up with great content that is very helpful and useful and I truly appreciate it. As a suggestion that would help a newbie like me LOL, you have created quite a few videos on building the best worship rig. Is there anyway that you can create a video showing the best practices on connecting your rig to an outside PA system on stage? In other words we've created the best worship rig now what are the best tools needed to connect your worship rig on a church stage? Do you take your focusrite to church and somehow connect that to your PA system? You can see I'm asking newbie questions but you guys are so good at explaining things clear as mud. Maybe like a video showing your setup and how you get it out onto the main audience... Thank you again.
We do have a video similar to this here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5mmYs3UrnOU.html Some connections will depend on your specific system, but a standard setup would be iPad > Audio Interface > Direct Box > Sound Board
