Thanks for the comment! I'm using a 3rd party G12M-65 Creamback IR from Celestion. www.celestionplus.com/products/guitar-responses-by-speaker/g12m-65-creamback/
Hi Leo, you get some nice sounds there with P90´s - but it never sounds like a JCM 800 to me....to less agressive, to less upper mids to cut through, to dark with Humbuckers. I´m running the Iridium Punch with the York Audio Friedman IR´s (Greenbacks). For some more agressive sound I´m using the valhallir.at Orange 72 (G12H30). But it´s always a Plexi sound....
The JCM 800 on it's own really isn't a very "hi-gain" amp unless you have both the gain and master on ten. Most of the pros put a Tube Screamer (or similar overdrive) in front of it to boost it to get those "famous" hi-gain tones, even with the controls all "dimed."
Thanks for the comment. I'm using the G12M-65 Creamback IR from Celestion (4x12 closed-back) + Iridium Punch Amp (Drive at 3 o'clock, Bass at 9 o'clock, Middle, Treble at noon). Eleven Rack Echo Plex and Eleven Rack Stereo Reverb in ProTools.
