We took Saturday off from doing our projects to see one of our favorite bands. "STRYPER" It was an amazing show with a great crowd in attendance. Now.......back to work.
Thanks to everyone that has watched this video. Hope you enjoy as much as we do. I look forward to seeing The Final Battle concert! I'll be sure to look for it on RU-vid after the album comes out. Hopefully they'll come to Cleveland with that show!
Holy cow, what a show! Thanks for sharing. Would it be ok with you if I put Yahweh from your video on my channel, list a link in the description to your whole concert video to boost your views a little, and put a link in the end screen to subscribe to your channel? I think everyone should watch your concert video... I only have about 900 subscribers, but every little bit helps. Either way, let me know. ~Mr. B
@@edcollins9377 I didn't know there was a competition. Michael plays a completely different style and those styles compliment each other beautifully.
They do not only sound amazing but look fantastic and fit!! Saw them live in 85...I was pressed up against the stage and loved every second!!! Michael is 58 years old and still has a great voice...and of course...guitar chops! Love all of em!!! Keep rocking for Christ brothers:)))
Been a big fan since 1984. I've seen them twice in the early 80's. In 84 Michael was preaching about Jesus and an idiot tried tried to rush the stage and kick his ass. Thank God some big roadies threw him out and Michael kept on preaching....God bless Stryper!
Keeping ALL in prayers--for the LORD to be glorified and His dear people to be found and saved by the Spirit and Word of God, through Jesus Christ, Our Precious Lord and Savior! ➕🙏📖☝🤍👊 🎶🎤🎸🥁🎸🎸🎵
Saw Stryper back in the late 80's early 90's, I forget exactly. They played in the Las Vegas High School auditorium. Still have my free bible that they gave out at the show.
Thanks for this! I was there 3 people back to the left of Michael. We got rained on just before coming in. The show was on point! I am 60 years old, and was there with my 28 year old son! This was the closest I have ever been! Thanks again!
Most awesome sounding Stryper…your music is even more relevant and necessary today than the 80’s. I hope to catch you on tour. Keep spreading God’s Love with your music. I picture you guys as leading the Celestial Musicians of God’s Army when Jesus returns.
I was supposed to go to this show Thanks for sharing Michael is still amazing and Oz is still off the charts . Perry is a good fit and Robert is a show just by himself . Great set . I agree the last albums are fantastic. . The writing is getting better and these guys still rock
This is excellent, but I've noticed quite a few key changes (to accompany the vocal ease for Michael) and different tuning on many solos...and I'm a singing drummer with a good ear not a guitarist!!! But they've all still got it and Robert is killing it on his kit! Poor hi-hat getting bashed up like that, and love the high China's behind him! Too cool!
They were great in 80's and just as good or better now !amazing show I tried to get columbus tickets too late but thank God I've seen them 4 or 5 times .all glory to Jesus Christ our King
So glad to see where God has brought you perry 🙏 all the way from max warrior to here gods been with you the whole time, love you brother, keep laying it down 👍
Maybe someday I'll get to see this amazing band in concert. Keep rockin for the Lord guys!!! Amen. Glad you're back Oz, may the Lord continue to bless and keep you all.
Amazing. How many musicians, either hobby or professional two decades ago now have physical hand problems like arthritis or vocal decline, including myself. Yet, these guys can still play very similarly as two decades ago.
Yeah that's NOT happening! Musically Stryper completely Destroys all those Bands! That Tour is a F'n Joke! Old ass Has-Bins!! But at Least Def Leppard has a new album which is pretty good... If anything! Stryper should have their own Xian Metal Festival Tour. Stryper headlining, with support from Recon, Bride, Sacred Warrior, Bloodgood, Tourniquet, & Theocracy. For all these Bands Utterly Destroy!! \m/
Thanks for the upload! Growing up in a small country town in Victoria Australia in the 80s, I was 15 when a friend of mine let me borrow against the law, and the rest is history, being a drummer also, I always loved how Robert played on the side, I think most my town knew who stryper was thanks to my trusty old stereo and my relentless drumming to them🤣 Going to see them here in Australia next week, taking my son with me and can't wait!
That is awesome!!! Hope you enjoy the show. You will get to hear the songs off the new album. Hopefully we will get to see them again when they return from the Australia/New Zealand tour. Thanks for watching!! ✌🏻
Put your phone down and enjoy the show. It's freakin annoying when you are there live with all those cameramen with their phones up. Take a short video and pics and put your phone away...
Thanks for sharing. Watched the live stream from Nashville & wow, was it good. The mix was spot on. Can't say enough how great it sounded. This video too. This set list is great. Playing a lot of my personal favs. Love "Divider" & when I heard "This I Pray" I about fell off my chair. Michael seemed to pull songs from every album. Hope to see them this tour. God Bless Stryper!
Awesome show! I’ve been a Stryper fan since the Yellow and Black Attack days. After all these years they are one of the few remaining 80s bands still putting out new music and performing with such talent and energy! Thanks for recording and posting!
Have loved STRYPER since THE YELLOW AND BLACK ATTACK ep. My all time favorite Stryper song is REVELATION. It's kind of different from the usual Stryper tune but I love them all.
Those were fun times and great shows- Watching Stryper multiple times at the Country Club, then the Santa Monica Civic in 1984 while evolving into an Arena rock band and the apex in 1989. I Was lucky to have been there during those times. No way the personal feeling and joy will be duplicated, however, I feel a similar excitement seeing and turning people onto "The Warning" now as when I dragged folks to see Stryper back in my youth!
I saw them twice in the 80's, and the live video concert that was on my 55th birthday(5-16-2022), three days before this was posted. STRYPER Thanks for the birthday present!!!!!
May the Grace and Peace of Christ always be with Styper as they spread the Spirit of the Lord. Freely surrender. They're the best.... Followed since they started yellow and black attack yet this is in the town I grew up in. They're the best to their fans. Love y'all
Wow, They sound just like they did in the 80's. Michael's vocals hasn't changed much and Michael and Oz Fox's guitar solo harmonizing is on par. I saw them in concert on their To Hell with the Devil tour In the 80's. Great show. I saw an interview with Michael Sweet. He mentioned one of his influences being Michael Schenker,(which happens to be one of mine as well). He said, "I keep my Wah pedal at half cocked wah, for that Michael Schenker tone." Robert is a beast on the drums, just like he's always been. Very underrated, that's for sure.
Oh yeah. Saw them in Atl last week, he hit the highs in THWTD that he hasn’t even been attempting for many years. Perhaps best vocal remaining of any 80s band.
@@keithshaw2208 I will say Joe Elliot of Def Leppard and Jack Blades of Night Ranger both still have it. Dee Snider still kills it. There are many that still have have their voices as well. Michael, eye surgery or not, is losing it. Oz and Perry carried him. As wonderful as Rob Halford is, you can tell he is starting to lose it. It happens... Vince Neil, CJ Snare, Jon Bon Jovi, as well as many others...poof...gone.
@@richardpreston4931 man I gotta disagree about Michael, Halford and CJ. I think they're up there with the other singers that still have it. Michael is one of my favorite singers from that Era
