I was there - the whole concert was outstanding. They are so under rated as a band. Without a doubt A+ concert performance, their anointing is for real.
I'm impressed with the band's heavy sound. mike's voice and screams, guitar solos. Oz's solos, Tim and Robert rhythm section is so tight and powerful. above all; God's presence in them and on the stage. Stryper rocks!!
There are the best Christian band around. What a great way to reach the lost sheep of this world that does not know our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. I would love to see you guys come to Thailand and Rock this world with the TRUTH of the word of God. I have been here since 2009 after living in USA from 1964-2009. Peace & Love be with you.. :)

I went to the Fallen tour in Battle Creek Michigan and it was a great show! My third time seeing them live! I cannot criticize their performance! I was blown away by their professionalism and love for God and music! Rock on Stryper! ;-)
Man, I have always been a hard and heavy rocker, but I have always liked STRYPER. Man, I bet those guys have been through alot. I truly admire their courage and tenacity. Their integrity and all that other positive stuff. If anyone has missed the point, they are human and Christian. It isn't just a show, it is who they are. And as for Gods name? Well, He is called a lot of different things. But He told Moses, "I am all I will prove Myself to be". So then, ya jus have ta know God. And hey, did ya know, you can do that and still be human? If you truly want to know God, then turning from some things won't be a problem for you. These guys and their music has gotten me through some real dark times and some real good times, you know, life? Yeah, well, glad they were and are a part of my life. And they are friends with my friends in Queensryche too among many others. These guys are, the real deal. They are confessing and professing, salvation and Gods plan for us all through Jesus Christ. They are perfect in that sense. Don't you wish you had such courage and audacity? To stand in the face of this world, and speak the truth, bold, and without fear, gains my utmost respect. I play secular music, but these guys are just awesome. They do what they do very well, because I believe, they are called to it. I don't doubt that at all. I bet they are some really wise dudes albeit not much different than you or I, if ever I get the chance to meet them. I am so glad they came back with this album. And they are the kind of band that plays one good tune after another. Not just some songs. It's that way for me anyway. Thanks Stryper. Thanks for the hard work.
The high notes are tracks. Listen close. Theres a change in sound quality. He isn't singing those. I love stryper but they are as fake as everyone else anymore. You can also time them perfectly with the stupid track. Yes he sings live but not the hight notes or backing vocals.
Saw them a couple of years ago in Chicago. Tracks. 100% He has started to stop using them. I am not the only fan who noticed. Striper is awesome. Michael has admitted to using tracks
When they played in Pittsburgh we had a bad storm, the Alterbar is a fairly small venue, but the storm was causing quick power outages and a handful of his screams were his. You could hear it for a brief second when the power would cut out.
mike has admitted to using backing tracks for backing vocals or keyboards. I couldn't find anywhere where he said he uses backing tracks for lead vocals or screams.the reason for the sound quality change, is to do the scream he has to pump loads more air thru his vocal chords, which of course will changes the quality of the sound.
ABSOLUTELY AWESOMENESS! I've seen them twice 1988 IGWT Tour and 2009 Murder By Pride Tour..they are absolutely awesome live! Keep ROCKING for Jesus my friends!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii love it! Although, it seems like there's some sort of backing track for the scream, it is important to realize that it's wise not to blow his vocal chrods night after night. The effect properly used adds an epic feel to this anthem. By the way, it is obvious he pre recorded this with HIS OWN voice... Amazing!
Yes they get bit of help from some backing tracks and he has said as much in public. Not near as many as our worship leader at church uses and probably not near what other bands from the 80s and 90s are using nowdays. They sound incredible and you can tell he is singing the bulk of the vocals. Their harmonies have always been great. I am just not sure why this song ends with the crucifixion rather than the resurrection.
I still say Michael is getting some backing track assistance with his screams. I have seen them every time they have been in Denver since 2003, and am a huge fan and have been since '84. The "level" of the screams in the PA is different than his voice when he is singing. I don't care, heck if I was in his position, I would not hesitate. Just my opinion. I am not saying he is not actually singing, he is just getting some help with volume.
I hear what you are saying about the level of his screams compared to his voice when he is singing. His screams are louder. But they could have his screams potted louder for added affect without any canning of prerecorded screams that he has done in the past on songs like TO HELL WITH THE DEVIL and THE WAY. great performance all around with this song, off an incredible album!
JAY BASSETT Are you a singer? Do you realize what a strain screaming puts on your voice on top of singing night in night out ? It does even at 23 yrs old it does so at 53 i bet it does even more. So why are some of %*>~>€£% criticizing Michael for getting help once in awhile, would you rather not hear screams live? Some of you guys need to pull your heads outta your @sses and come back to reality , most of Strypers peers can't sing half as good anymore compared to their younger selves let alone scream at every concert night after night and do a tour. So let's be thankful they're still going strong and putting great music out and not be idiots criticizing little tiny things.......seriously!!!
