Definitely not my best edit. Something that was was sitting in my files for a while. Nobody made an edit about her, so Imma post it anyway.
I have some material on Stuart queens so I'll work on a video about them within the next weeks.

I think deep down Charles did love Catherine. I remember reading how at one time Catherine was sick and delirious with fever and Charles was by her bedside. She was asking him about their three kids (she had three miscarriages) and Charles went along with it, saying how they had two boys and a girl.

oh most definitely. though this conflicted because they do have rows, charles consistently refused to divorce catherine at any point. especially just to have heirs. he valued her companionship and her input and truly was the best constant in his life. when he laid dying, she was unable to see him and quickly sent a letter saying so. the king heard and was heard to say she didnt have to apologize, it should be him. he really loved her and so did she!

Yes like he loved her dowry (India) once they divorce he would have to return her the dowry... Which of course he needed to establish the east Indian company in India... And funny that he also took her dowry and used the funds and human resource(army) from it to remove the Portugal rule from India lol I don't know how such a huge thing is not depicted... Yeah love my a**

I really like Jack Houston who plays the king since he played Jack Houston on Boardwalk Empire. He’s the nephew of Angelica Houston and grandson of the actor, director & writer Jack Houston. Such a talented family. His maternal grandfather was the 6th Marquess of Cholmodeley (George Cholmodeley).

Think about it: at this point only a few yers had passed since he had, by invitation, re-established Stewart rule .. However, the alliance he chose through a CATHOLIC wife didn’t give him legitimate heirs, yet, he kept her as Wife & Queen. Meanwhile, his only surviving brother, James, was both openly leaning towards conversion, and was also failing to produce legitimate male heirs that survived single-digit childhood … What was it about Charles that in these politically explosive circumstances he decided to not put Catherine aside, re-marry, & take a second chance at healthy LEGITIMATE heirs? Charles was already father to a number of illegitimate children, many of whom were ennobled; some of those ‘houses’ being still existent in today’s aristocracy?

Poor Catherine. I am just so glad that Charles didn't do to her what king henry viii did to his Catherine when she couldn't give him a son. I dont know if he really loved her because kings didn't marry for love back then but in my honest opinion there must have been some feeling of warmth for her otherwise he would have totally discarded her.

why is she WHITE? Its going to create the same problem as the little mermaid. when media TRY to un-whitewash Europe;s real history you scream its wrong.
