Stubborn Great Pyrenees Puppy Won't Stop Play Biting 

I also have a Great Pyr puppy. Their breed is a livestock guardian dog and bred to think for themselves. They can be trained, but it takes longer with more consistency. I had to find training books just for their breed, they’re so unique.

@@sthet2922 They definitely are. She is a handful. In this video, he says, “a puppy only has 1 pointy end.” This puppy is over 100 lbs and is taller than me when on her hind legs. Very hard to stay away from the pointy end. It’s taking A LOT of patience and consistency. She is very easily trained at doing things. Sit, lay down, leave the treat until released, all learned in one session. Training her NOT to do something (jumping and biting) has been a whole other monster. I unfortunately had bad luck with the trainer we originally hired. I’m currently saving up for a really great trainer in the area, where they guarantee their work. It’s very expensive, but I have to do something. She’s knocked my elderly father over twice. She doesn’t mean harm. She’s just massive and gets so excited, it’s like she can’t control herself.
