I feel bad for Kaden and his tolerance level. Love Zeus and his vocals, but I do often feel bad that Kaden seems to take the back seat all of the time.

Dogs are like kids. You give one something, you have to give the other something too.

What I’m impressed about is that this wasn’t a fight. It was literally a stand off. Not even growling. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KADEN!

German Shepherds really can be incredibly self-restraining! I've got one, Victor, and he's dealt with dozens of smaller dogs panicking and yapping at the mere sight of him (he ain't small, but he's also got this dominant aura about him). He could've made 'accidental mincemeat' out of them, one occasion such a small fry literally bit him to bleeding; but he didn't retaliate. Not because he cannot fight, oh I've seen him take down bull dogs and everything! But he really has this calm character. And seeing Kaden here makes me believe German Shepherds are just that by nature (with proper training you get a smooth diamond from the rough, so to speak).

Kaden is the most mature person I've ever seen.

this is my cat daily. except the two of them sit there growling at each other for 5 minutes before the dog realizes hes too big and old for this shit and just stands up, thus taking the bone.

Because standing there whispering at him is really going to make him obey.
