The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

Is your first thought when something goes wrong,
"Well, this must be happening to me because of my sins?"
When you get sick or something bad happens to you, do you ever wonder,
"What sin is God punishing me for now?"
God does not think the way we do.
God hates sin, but He loves the sinner.
Our sin does deserve punishment from God,
but despite our many wrong turns and failings,
God hath not dealt with us after our sins.
The fact that we exist today
bears testimony to the Lord's mercy, grace, and love.
God, in His love, sent His Son Jesus to live a perfect life for us
and take the penalty for our sin that we deserved.
The cross proves that God will stop at nothing to pour out His love.
“Who is a God like you who pardons sin and forgives transgression?”
In asking this question Micah invites us to recognize God’s matchless forgiveness.
Even though we have committed the worst mistakes in our lives,
the stubborn love of God for His children never changes.
Forgiveness of your sins is available
if you will place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior.
Yes, forgiveness of sins and His salvation are gifts, but these are not, however, a license to sin.
When we sin, it hinders our relationship with our Creator,
and we damage our inward relationship with ourselves
through frustration or guilt.
Any unconfessed sin in the life of a follower of Christ
can cause a sense of separation from God.
God does not abandon us,
but we lost the light and warmth of fellowship when we chose sin.
We do not lose our salvation, because Jesus paid our debt in full.
God did not suffer a cruel death so that we could continue to sin and expect to be forgiven. He came so that we could be forgiven, be made holy, and can choose to stop sinning.
How often do we bring up past sins and feel guilty for them all over again?
The Lord holds no grudges, harbors no resentments.
The punishment we deserved was given to Jesus.
