I still remember hearing this song for the first time. This is the original cover of her very first LP! Kathy once said in an interview that of all the songs she has recorded over the years, this remains her best personal song, she said "it's timeless"!

I heard this when I was 8 years old in the Salsa Alianza version in Spanish. Recently I have been asking God for a new fire, a return to His love......And through looking at an older Spanish translation of a song called The King of Who I Am (another beautiful song) I found a strange title in Spanish called Obstinado Amor by a sister called Mirabel Soto........I heard it and was transported to that feeling of a kid. I looked up the salsa version and through looking up other versions I found one that said the original was called STUBBORN LOVE and I don't know why we dont do songs like this anymore. Even if its juat for special events.

This is one of my all time favorites. I was in junior high school when I first heard this, even then I could relate to the lyrics. Even when I strayed away, this song never left me. I felt so unworthy of God's love during those 16 years. His grace is so amazing, and to find this sing again this morning, it was totally a divine appointment. I found this right on time.

my friend gave me a cassette tape of this song complete with music sheet in the late 80s. I keep playing this that time everyday. As years go by, don't knew where the tape is. Until this time as if someone whispered me to find this song. I forgot the title but i tried to type the lyrics until i found it again.
