Learn HOW-TO get a valve unstuck on your small engine weather its a generator or a lawn mower you can do it all the same. In this video we go over how to free up a stuck valve on a Yamaha EF2000IS inverter using basic tools everyone should have. Just in time the valve got stuck from bad gas and carbon build up and all we had to do was free up the stuck valve and hit it with a wire wheel brush and give it a basic cleaning and BAM we got this Yamaha Generator back up and running with full compression.

The Hondas are cast in one piece with head and block one casting, you have to split the case and pull the piston and crank to work on the valves. That looks a bit easier.

If you had a little 3/8" impact and some swivels I think would make your job easier.

Swivel might be a good in investment what brand makes best ones??

@@RepairGang any name brand would prob be fine. You can get the ones that are basically an extension, swivel and socket all in one. Put more extensions and you would loose torque so you would need a decent 3/8 gun with balls but one you could turn down the power too. You would want one that you would be able to turn down because it could break shit with just a socket on the gun or grenade a chrome socket.

What caused the valve to get stuck? Was it lack of oil changes? Poor maintenance? Or bad fuel?

Bad gas mixed with stabil and dust plus carbon over time weird rarely see it and I fixed 5 gens this month with them..... I found a easy cheaper way to free them up with carb cleaner and PB blaster
