It’s so easy to go over budget rebuilding/restoring a vehicle. It’s actually scary when you start totaling up what you’ve spent. Of course that’s not counting your labor but there’s just something about building or rebuilding an old vehicle that’s so satisfying. I think old vehicles remind us of a simpler time.
It was an amazing show! Drove my truck and trailer with dragster 500 miles round trip. I'm starting a '72 C10 stepside build next so I'll be ordering a bunch of stuff for that soon.
Back in the day you must’ve had to ‘bleep, bleep’ the box for the Custom Deluxe Package to get a “ drinker’s side” wiper because my 50 F1 was never even drilled for one .
Most early Ford standard models only got a driver's side wiper. They probably didn't become standard until the 1950s. Studebaker always had dual wipers way back into the 1930s.
