I hate how medias portray these protests. People aren't okay with US full onboard with supporting a genocide. At some point, centrists refusing to recognize this help this situation to persist.
Now this is what politicians should be following. Instead of a war, it should be a roundtable of conversations to talk about problems people are facing like adults.

Which genocide. The one Hamas did on October 7. The war would have ended the day Hamas gave back the hostages. Hamas chose not to do that. They started this war.

It's good, but the premise is a bit odd: many Jews have been at the forefront of fighting for Palestinian liberation. Depicting Jews as somehow all being somehow tied to Israel is also wrong.
It’s not surprising that these media outlets ignore groups like jewish voice for peace, things get more clicks if you split people up and sensationalize things that aren’t actually bad
If all were to read about the history of the WW2, we would have solved the conflict easily. Find what is the root cause which is the Israeli occupation happening on Gaza and the West bank. If we stop it, we will have peace in the future...
The occupation exists because there are many Palestinians who view the whole land as occupied and want to fight for it. It is unclear how large that proportion is among Palestinians, but it is clearly significant. Right or wrong Israelis think that Palestinians will continue to attack them once they have a state. The more paranoid Israeli view is that why would we give them a state when they will then just attack us? Cycles of violence on both sides push the other to be more extreme, which is why we see Hamas control over Gaza, and the most right-wing coalition in Israel's history today.
But still the BJP blame their country problems to Muslim. It just like how Hitler blame German problems because of Jews. What astound me was, Muslim in India are the same dirt poor as their Hindus counterpart in the country, and still being blamed for the India economic problems. I can understand why Hitler want an easy scapegoat for German economic problem when Jewish community whole lots of gov millitary and even corporate banks and industry in German. But it still wrong.
Why don't you bring Jews from both sides instead, stop acting like it's a Jewish vs Palestinian thing, equating a foreign governments view as same as all Jewish people is rediculous and these protests have major Jewish attendance
these protests do NOT have major jewish attendance, almost all jews support israel maybe it feels like theres attendance at rallies because pro-palestinians categorize them as "one of the good ones"
Human solidarity. We come into the world the same way, we bleed, we hunger, we thirst and we long to be safe and free....all of us. This is wonderful....so proud of these young people.
You are anti-semitic because you're pushing anti-Israel propaganda. You are lying and creating a strawman scenario to demonize. THAT is what makes you anti-semitic.
If you describe it like that, you don't actually understand the situation. You need to join a dialogue (or trialogue) group like the one presented in this video.
True, but media censorship doesn't wven allow rhe mention of words like genocide , ethnic cleansing, occupation, etc. So this is just window dressing coverage.
It's not it's the Arab league vs Israel and the U.S because if they colonize Israel with global support they will come for Europe and the west next, as seen by the protests they've already done a really good job.
Gaza is not under occupation since 2005. And that made things worse. The sad true is that if Gaza had been under occupation, 7oct would have not happened. Palestinians have a real problem with their own society and how they inject irrational hate on their childrens.
This is not a Palestinian and Jewish issue. The media is over simplifying the heck out of this. The vast majority of protest organizers are Jewish. This is a humanitarian issue.
Vast majority. And SJP is a national group doing a lot of the driving of this. If you say Palesitiniens are animals or call for the killing of all Jews, it is indeed a Palestinian/Jewish issue. It is also a god issue. Stupid old tribalism and dangerous deadly faith.
@@SerpenttineOkay, instead of “Israeli”, say “Zionist” then, because the point still stands that Jews aren’t a monolith and shouldn’t be treated as such.

Never compromise with an abuser. The right people will always get along with others. But predatory individuals will never sit-in on meetings like this. It's either they leave people alone. Or they go to jail.
A dialogue is what we needed in this horrible and complicated conflict between two peoples. I agree that we can be both pro Israel and Palestine all at the same time. And we definitely should condemn Hamas and Netanyahu’s actions pray for both people 🇮🇱🇵🇸
If they listened to speaker Mike Johnson they would never had a chance to speak to each other. Trying oppress freedom of speech is a symptom of fear of the truth
Being pro-Palestinian is comparable to feminism - just because you support the one that is historically oppressed does not mean you hate the other side, you just want freedom and equality.
Palestinians are only oppressed by radical Islam. Israel has just existed, and they are attacked for it. Also feminism has also been hijacked by extremists.
"Heal the world. Make it a better place, for you and for me and entire human race. They are people dying if you care enough for the living. Make a better place for you and for me." - Michael Jackson.
Sorry you're wrong. There was a time when Palestinians welcomed European Jewish refugees during and after the Holocaust. How did they repay that kindness? Stole their lands, killed their people and oppressed the ones that remained. Jews, Muslims, Christians all lived in peace before the British betrayed Palestinians and formed an alliance with Zionists. This is about occupation. Zionism is racism. You have to acknowledge the wrong before you can heal. Stop ignoring the injustices that happened and are still happening 75 years later to Palestinians. If there is such a thing as "the chosen people," I believe they are Palestinians. Who else could bear the pain for as long as they have?
Please allow the protesters to watch "Screams Before Silence".It's available for free and provides testimonies from women involved in the October 7th massacre, including footage of Hamas from the event.

Ah yes the ugly part of America lives well in you, morons like you don't realize that most students protesting 80% are American and 40% protesting are Jews so stfu you loser
Foreigners pay more, which means the school has more money for US-citizen students. I graduated from UC San Diego; more than half the students were foreign, and most were from Asia-primarily Chinese, Indian, Korean, Japanese, Arabs, Iranians, and other East Asians. We also had a large number of Europeans. I was one of the only Mexican-Americans, which at the time was about 7% of the student population, and in a state where half of the population was and still is Mexican American.
It isn't just that they pay more, but that the pool of people in the world is much larger than the pool in the US, thus by allowing ourselves to have such a huge pool of talents to pick from, more talented people can be found. It is beyond doubt, that the US's current scientific dominance is owed largely to us taking brains from other countries.
Blessed are the PEACEmakers. Hopefully, From now on, hopefully many, many, many more people will finally believe the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and finally be saved and have everlasting life. Amen. LOVE.
While you were sad about the protests, the good people around the world, like the protesters, are sad about the children in Gaza massacred daily by Israel.

This is nice. I’d say it’s almost ‘cute’ . Unfortunately is far too late for dialogue to save the war /conflict. It’s never too late to keep trying and these efforts are noble and worthy - although believing that their little group will cause peace to reign is fantasy . Their vigils and group therapy is nice for the feel-good in a college campus but worthless in the real life situation in the Middle East /Gaza
These people and the peace makers in Isreal/Palestine will find peace in their lives regardless of what is happening in the world and the more people like them, the better.
These young people are well meaning, but I really don't think one can remain neutral on the issue of Zionism, any more than one could remain neutral during the Civil War, WWII, or the Rwanda massacres.

Then why have a different set of rights for Jews and different for the rest of the people? Why can't "Arabs" as you said, vote? Why have a system of apartheid? Israel's own human rights group B'tselem published their investigations and findings. Why are Israelis taught since they are born that Arabs are inferior? Look it up. Read.

@@tartapple8090 I understand, my whole point is that this whole narrative that history started at 07th of October or even asking the question "do you condemn the Hamas attack on the 7th of October?" shows how disingenuous the media depicting this conflict is.
