jd, we tried peacekeepers. They were in Lebanon, blown up by terrorists and didn't protect Israel. Israel cannot afford to have people who will run away when the going gets tough. Hamas won't release the hostages, they could have the last ceasefire when they promised to release all the females, kids, and babies, but they didn't. They don't believe in ceasefire, they believe in Hudna, which means a break before attacking again. They have promised to do Oct.7th over and over.

Overwhelming the Israelis say a two state solution will work, while the Palestinians say nope, it’s our land-the Jews have to go. So they have work together to share the land. Both sides on this issue demonstrate a mid-East "desert-brain" mentality. This "dispute" has gone on since the days of Abraham and his two sons. The hubris of the student protestors has disrupted campus life (and closed down public bridges). It needs to be stopped...Permanent expulsion from Columbia (and other universities that protesters are infiltrating) is the way to end this silly mess. Similar to the demonstration ruckus of the late 1960s were as futile as is this current endeavor.

I fully agree with you, she should have been asked that question. If she can't condemn Hamas that will be the (giveaway) that she is not honest. I thought she showed fake sympathy in this video and tried to justify the threatening behaviour of the pro-Hamas mob. In my opinion, she is a liar and does not care that the Jews were threatened and harassed at colleges. If she cared, she would do something to help them, but I have a feeling she won't.
