Accreditation usually means particular basics are taught....math, reading, history, language, etc and that the person that put the program together has a background in those areas or organized the people that are. I used to work in mental health and the more someone was educated, the more useless and out of clue about human nature they were. They would even hide. They were mostly useless. The type of kids that excel at reading text books usually aren't the more socially intelligent or capable of dealing with stress situations. I remember one overly educated guy that hid in the washroom for his whole shift. They aren't the smartest people. They're the kids of the privileged and they don't know anything about human nature but they're going to make all the rules for us.

Sadly most prisons are turning into giant daycares for people that end up with more rights than employees that work at them and even people that are living on the streets. They use the kids as pawns to gain access and either dump them once they get across the border or pretend that they are a family if caught. Then the adults get released and disappear into the country (under Democrats) and the US is stuck with trying to pay for the kids and find homes or family. Under Trump, they were sent back to Mexico and let them deal with the issue which incentivized Mexico to stop them at THEIR border before they ever crossed over since a large number were from Central America.

These kids aren't american citizens, they don't belong here and can't just be left to wander by themselves. The only real solution would be to have an open line with Mexican officials and send the children back with family members and if there aren't any available, sent into foster homes in Mexico. If you have a problem with that take it up with the shitty adults crossing the border illegally and getting the children involved in this process.
