J ai possèdé la même machine il y a 20 ans. J en garde un excellent t souvenir . L audio était fabuleux, un peu moins la mécanique, mais j ai pu faire de très bons enregistrements à 38cm/s.

What is the source you used for the music on the reel? CD? Vinyl? beautiful machines! They are ace for studio recording

No, i did not use any denoiser here, like Dolby A,SR or TELCOM. This is the actual sound coming from the recorder :)

Does anybody know where I could learn about how to use my studer b62? I have no idea what outputs are what and inputs too. Any help would be massively appreciated,

You can largely eliminate the persistent mechanical "ringing" capstan motor gently pushing heads tacho pinion controlling the rotation located on both sides of the capstan motors You only need special care because they are made of very flimsy plastic and are bolted to the engine with plastic screws.

I have two of these recorders, and would love to minimize the "ringing" you mention. Should I loosen the plastic screws and then move the tacho sensors sligthy away from the capstan? More details are very welcome, thanks!

Звук - для людей, а не роботов, в отличие от всех остальных моделей Штудер/Ревокс. Может, Вилли был любителем ламповых Люксманов, но в таком случае предупреждать нужно )
