Eppie! Yes to the woolies, yes to the Christmas decorations, yes to the brilliant sounding virtual course and a huge yes to the marquetry!! I've been quietly watching your videos for a few weeks now, I love your enthusiasm, your designs and I find this so inspiring! I'm interested in doing your freestyle embroidery course as I've embroidered for a while now and would like to design my own pieces that are something other than basic flowers! Thanks for sharing with all of us, I always enjoy your nice, long, chatty videos!
Another classic Eppie video. Full of enthusiasm and ideas! Your creative brain is like a tornado! Interesting hearing you talk about gender stereos in craft. My late father in law used to do tapestry and we still have the fire guard and cushion he made. I think you should try and promote it to the men as well! If Tom Daley can make knitting sexy so can tapestry and sewing!! Marquetry - good luck! Could cut out loads of different shapes and colours and then people could make designs out of them and then frame them. Have fun in Yorkshire. Xx Fi
To be honest, I feel like it's festive season all year round at the Fabled Thread with all those cheerful designs! Great ideas and good luck with the wood thing, I hope it will work!
I received four of your beautiful botanicals yesterday, after more than a few kit disappointments.i am absolutely thrilled with your kits and look forward to start stitching .i am also a member which is great fun. Many thanks to you and your team🤓💐💕
Oh yay Marie!! I am so pleased and delighted you chose to join the studio too - it’s honestly so special for me when people join!! Hope you enjoy stitching the kits - do let me know how you get on!! Xx
You are prolific! So many amazing ideas and many many coming to life. Congratulations on all this progress. There's even something for me with the painted holiday ornaments as I'm not a stitcher but hooked on your studio diaries, your aesthetic and you. Best of luck launching!!
Thank you so much Susan - definitely I am currently in the category of too many ideas and too little time. Long do I hope it continues!! Thats the beauty of being a dabbler in lots of crafts - there are so many different things to try!!
Fabulous video, sooo excited about all the new products. Those wooden decorations are just beautiful as are all the new kits. I have purchased your freestyle embroidery course and am loving it. Cant wait for the new online course too. As for remembering you at Christmas, my list is written ..... basically anything from Fabled Thread!!!!
Thank you. - so pleased you are enjoying the course Diane and I think the next one is going to be really additive! It goes deeper into topics and brings everything together! Also hugely supportive of a fully Fabled Thread christmas list haha! Thank you Diane!!
Your videos are some of the only I look forward to each week! I wanted to say I've taken some of your art advice and completely dismantled all of my pinterest inspiration boards- and now I just collect the inspiration into a moodboard as I see fit if I am not using one of my art books. I have a burning question for you Eppie: does the bulk of your embroidery that you for fun/ leisure end up as kits? How do you draw the line between "myself" and "for everyone"? I'm sure this could just be delved into in a future video, but your style is so interesting. I ask mainly also because I have a style I will use for gifts and others, but a different for my own art for myself and my walls. Best wishes ❤and thank you for brightening up my week with these videos. Since finding Fabled Thread, I've gone from stitching maybe 1 hour a day regularly to 3 or 4.
Please please please tell me the maker space app/ site will be open for anyone even outside the UK 🎉❤ I CANNOT WAIT to sign up if so! Nearly bouncing with excitement to be the first one signed up
Absolutely!! It will definitely be international - thats totally at the core of why we are making it virtual as now nearly half of our customers are from the US or Australia!!
