@@UkiyoIkou I love the cello versions too :/// I poked around a bit but I can't find anything akin to the original, they may have scrapped it together from a bunch of different places, or possibly even recorded it themselves as I remember that channel had other covers too... Sorry :(
@@mantis_shrimpish6289 dang. I was looking when the original was up too and couldn't find anything. I downloaded this as an mp3 tho In case it disappears

@@catoninetails789 Not specifically, but I found from another comment that apparently these covers come from multiple sources, four albums by Kukita Kaoru: "GHIBLI the Classics", "Unplugged Ghibli", "Ghibli the Best", and "Ghibli the Best II." I have not yet looked into this though, so I can't confirm if this info is true or not
These versions of the famous songs are possibly my favorite covers I have stumbled across always being a fan of studio ghibli. Even though the main voice of each song is cello. They still made all the other instruments just as important which is really nice and it is so sad none of us will probaly find the original main source of these songs. I really wanted to find original original because I wanted to find the music sheets to these if available. I'm going to keep looking bahaha good luck everyone
This is and always will be my background music anytime I have to work and stay focused while writing. I've probably conditioned myself for it at this point but it's just so calming and familiar, it's hard to imagine using anything else.
The variety and the way the music palys...i was tired of listening to the usual piano ghibli..but when i listened to this..i had taht fonky feeling..it was unique and really enjoyable...ty so much ^^
i always use this for studying every since year 12 of college ike this is honestly the best most soothing playlist ive ever listened to and of course i loved the original, but im just glad that i was able to find a reupoaded version,i might have to download this so that i dont lose this again :P
This is a great playlist and the cello evokes a lot of emotion. The edits do get quite choppy towards the end, I wish it could be improved as the music abruptly stops quite a few times.
The OG album is from Kaoru Kukita, Ghibli The Classics (2005), at least for Carrying You. Pretty sure but can't confirm if the other songs are from her.
You are all I need You are my happiness and sad sweet Tomorrow is Handful happy So a hand in paw we sleep I want to make you a song that is not like all the songs I want to tell you stories that nobody else knows I want to fly with you through the night sky And turn every sad melody into a sweet lullaby
Who's is this originally? so many people posting the same thing. Edit, found info I was looking for in comments: from 4 different albums of Kukita Kaoru: "GHIBLI the Classics", "Unplugged Ghibli", "Ghibli the Best", "Ghibli the Best II"
This was originally uploaded by Koduck Weng. The youtube copyright took away the video. You could find the original video on ODYSEE by searching his name.
Does anyone know who the arrangers and the performers of "Carrying you" from "Laputa: Castle in the Sky", "The promise of the world" from "Howl's moving castle", and Theme of "Princess mononoke" in this playlist are?
Uh I think on the other re-upload someone in the comments has the CD name and details. From what I remember, this is all the same person who played and arranged the tracks.
