Looks fresh! I think you probably need to live with it a while to see if you love/hate it. Also if you want to test if your plant is dead or alive try scraping back a bit of the bark so see if it’s green. If it is it’s still alive, if it’s brown it’s probably dead. The ultimate test is bending a twig, if it snaps easy it’s probably dead. If it’s got flex to it, maybe still has a chance. Your studio is gorgeous before and after. I think you should keep the unpainted wall as it compliments your painting above the fireplace. ❤️ Love you as always, your amazing! 👍🏻

I laughed so much every time James whispered into the camera when you were packing up the studio. I can understand why people like the look of the wall BUT if you hate it you could hide it for the time being maybe? Get a spring loaded curtain pole and another sheer curtain and hang it in front of the wall braced against the chimney breast and the wall and could help it be less of an eyesore in your room. Especially if you get more fairy lights pinned to the curtain!

Love this studio refresh! The patched walls looked cool, but I understand why you painted them. It's one thing to look at through pictures and video, it's a whole different ballgame to actually live with it all the time. We have plaster in our house, and it can be such a pain if it starts to crack or crumble at all.

Dang, I'm enjoying re/painting studio makeovers so much. ⚡️ Sanded a stool yesterday for 2,5 hours my hands and muscles are so sore lol, I feel you Leigh. Still wanna sand a table today, because it's such a sweet work process. Also caulking, oh boi this is an art in itself. I had to use grey paste once in the kitchen, the end result was ok but the process to get there was a hot mess. Awesome you're looking after yourself! 🧡
