Studio One 5 - Tutorial for Beginners in 12 MINUTES! [ COMPLETE ]

What a total legend! New to daws and find most tutorials delivered by people who assume you know what the heck they are talking about. I learned more in 12 minutes than I have in a week.

Most shown features are available in practically any DAW. This is a good introduction for how to use a DAW, but not to what is specific to Studio One.

As a long time Cakewalk Dos through Sonar platinum and then Cakewalk by bandlab, I see many similarities which would make this easy to adapt to. I also see some newer conventions that would make life even Simpler! Bravo presonus!

Oh my gosh this is so helpful. I've lately been trying to find a good music making software and Magix just wasn't working, and I couldn't figure out Serato for the life of me. I chose Studio One because it works seamlessly with the presonus studiolive 3 and it works perfectly with the Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol MK2 Keyboard Controller

Liked the video bro..one thing in which you probably already know.. You don't have to setup IO's on miced channels.. You can right clock and select there that's it Studio One does that... But still watched the info we all can learn from each other.. Peaceeee Stay Up

I installed "prime" on my 2012 MacBook pro - no sound at all - perfectly ok with logic and garageband - but I would like Studio One - partly because of the good notation facility!

I'm putting down just a vocal track for a voice over demo. I must have hit a button that slows the speech. What would that be? My voice sounds normal just a lot slower like I'm drunk.

you forgot something about the piano and drum roll, you need plugins so for an example the piano roll knows what to play... i am a newbie and i definetly need help finding those plugins. where did you get them? or did you do something else?

5:55 do i have to donload different instruments and if not where do i find them? i might be either really stupid or maybe i missed something that was said but i dont get how you find the different sounds that you can use to make midi files.

I am considering buying this software. I use the boss rc30 loop station and electric guitar. I have created so many awesome tracks and I've been told its possible to transfer the tracks from the loop station to this software. Is it possible to mixdown into 5.1 surround?

Can someone please tell me what happened to (and where to find) the little flag icon that allows you to set the Start & End of the song? Since I`ve upgraded to Studio One 5, it`s no longer located where it`s always been in previous versions. It kinda sucks exporting a 5 minute mixdown when your song is only 3 minutes and some change, lol.

Are you able to add an effect to just a single clip in the track and not the rest of the track itself?
