It was the 3rd option for me. You're a life saver. This was the only step by step video that was clear and concise and got the problem solved. WELL DONE!!! THANK YOU SIR!!!
Hey Supercy! THANK YOU MUCHLY!!! The guy at Studio One couldn't help, but you sure did. Tip No.1 put me back on track. Thanks again so much for taking the time to show us these possible solutions!
Thank you Supercy, the "Remove plugin settings" got me back my McDSP 6060, that I had tried so many times as you did re doing my blacklist. Frustrating. Until I came upon your video. Thank you my friend. Gave you a big thumbs up. Be well!
Thank you so much, I had a couple of plugins that studio one would not recognize. I tried step 3 and it worked. Thank you for taking the time to figure this one out and sharing it with the rest of us. Thanks again you saved my insanity.
Greetings from Germany Percy. I am a user of Studio One 4 Professional. Your video helped me get through the frustrating blacklisted issue, as well as restoring a plug-in that was missing for several tracks in a project even though I could open up a new track using it. Imagine that. But everything is working now, so def want to say many thanks for posting this video on this issue. It was a huge help for my situation.
Bro, you're a life saver! JST EQ was refusing to show up even when I had it next to the other plug ins that were showing up. Did the plug in manager step and BAM! its there.
Much Gratitude for your afternoon of musical exploration as it took me 90 seconds with the fabulous help of your video here. Ever thankful and It's the AWESOME channels here on the tube that make life that much easier like this channel ✌️ 19,000 views and a few hundred comments. It wouldn't take much time to stop and show appreciation 🙏 many thanks . . and subbed too 🙃
Thank you! THIS IS WHAT I HAD TO DO: Go to the install file found in the XLN folder under Program Files, double click it, and hit the "repair" button. Then I pointed Studio One to look in the XLN folder as you instructed. FYI. Thanks again!
Thank you very much. Like you it was the last one that worked. I just got the SSL UC1 and I installed the plugins before I installed and setup the iLok for those plugins. The blacklisted the plugins and kept my UC1 from seeing them but the third solution you gave was able to allow Studio One to rescane the plugins and put them in the right place and now all is good with the world. You awesome thanks again for sharing your frustrations and solitons.
Thanks for the great Vid. I was going nuts all day trying to find a plug in and then I came across your video and it helped me out . Thanks again and keep up the great work.
i have studio one 4 artist and the vst folder doesnt show... can i still use 3rd party plugins? im about to smash my laptop trying to install this plugin
I just had this happened to me. Spent 2.5 hours trying to fix it. It happened bc I declined the initial iLock(Cloud) after installation bc I thought that the desktop would suffice but make sure you choose the iLock Cloud authorization. Much respect!
Inam having the same issues with my plug ins, when studio one loads up it stays on the "plug-in scanner" page and won't do anything unless i click disable or Skip
Wow, THANK YOU for this! I have one Eventide plugin that is "Blocked" (even though all the other Eventide plugins in that suite load fine) and even downloaded the latest update, but was still blocked. But hitting the "Reset Blacklist" button finally got it to load up!
Sir I have tested all 3 steps... Studio one Has Scan My all plugins but it can't show in instrument side.. So what can I do... it still Scan but Not showing..
I have an issue where the FX I used won't work. I just renewed my subscription and I reinstalled the app and after I open up the song, a list with vocal FX (Pro EQ, Compressor, Room Reverb, etc..) that are missing pops up. When I go to the channel where they are all listed, I double click and is says ,,This device is not installed on your system". I have no idea what is goign on, neither do my friends, who have been working with the app for a longer time. Can you maybe help me?
Got a question. Im all set up, Studio One 4 is working great BUT. I have no presets on my Presonus plug ins..Weird cause I also have version 5 ( which I cant use om my PC) and the presets are there!!! I checked the VST locations in both and dont see what I'm missing in version 4...any suggestions brother?
Okay so I have studio one artist and I purchased studio one five to allow third party plugins, and it installed however when I go to option and locations within studio one VST plugins isn’t an option any help ?
This might be of help to people as well. My Kontkat plugin would not update from version 6.2 to 6.5 after the 6.5 install. And my Session Guitarist Deluxe wouldn't show in Kontkat because it needs Kontkat 6.2.2 or higher. What I found out in Studio One is that the versions .dll file for 6.5 was installed in a different place that 6.2. The issue I found to be the ORDER in which the paths for the .dll files appear on the St1 VST Plugins locations that ST1 will scan. For example, the 6.2 was in c:\Program Files\VSTPlugins which was first in the list of paths. Version 6.5 was in c:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Vstplugins64bit, further down in the list. All I had to do is remove the c:\Program Files\VSTPlugins path from my list and add it again. Adding it again adds it to the bottom of the list of scanned paths. Thus, I'm assuming ST1 hit the .dll for version 6.5 first after this change, because the version 6.5 .dll is not higher in the list. My Kontkat plugin updated to 6.5 after that and I could get at my Session Guitarist Deluxe within Kontkat after that. I guess I could have just deleted the old .dll file, but I don't like to delete without knowing exactly what I'm doing. Not sure why Native Instruments/Kontkat can't just keep the .dll files in the same folder or overwrite/delete the old one. So, this won't help for every situation, but something to keep in mind if a pluging is not updating properly, it seems the order of the path might affect which .dll fire get recognized by Studio One and it may be and outdated .dl file. Might save someone a headache.....
@@dxwallace55 It installed in the steinberg folder in my computer drive Although I have another one in the vst 3 folder . So I added the steinberg folder to where studio one should search for and it works now . Thanks for your time
@@theedifyingassembly2985 Gladd you got past your headache. Those kind of problems are never exactly the same, but they are always similar. Where something is installed and how Studio One Searches for it......
@@weirdguitarplayervuijigame4416 with studio one 5 it's solved almost all of my plug-in issues. Studio one 4 gave me issues everytime I'd run it but would be fixed following these steps on this video.
WOW............ SUPER SUPER THANK YOU SIR-!!! The third solution worked for me!!! Oh.. my....! Actually, i have been problem with 'Melodyne'. but I'm free from fuxking problem!!! Thank you Soooooooooo much again!!
Sorry, I should have mentioned that you can only install 3rd party plugins with Studio One Professional or with Studio One Artis, but then you would also need to purchase an extra add-on: shop.presonus.com/VST-and-AU-and-Rewire-Support
this helps me a lot.. thnks.. you can just skip to plugin manager ..there you can see the blacklist,, my synthmaster 2 was there ..now after reset it works..
@@SupercyMusic Except like Lavanzel Kerr I also have Studio One artist which doesn't appear to support 3rd party plugins but I'll see what is available instead.
The VST plugin tab is only available in Studio One Professional, or in Studio One Artist if you have a separate add on. Unfortunately, if you're using Studio Prime or Studio One Artist without the add on, 3rd party plugins are not gonna be available to you.
Yo thank you for the info had problems with my studio one which I’m trying to upload my waves plug-ins and they’re not working once I’ve done the update but I went through everything you said within this video and it worked the only problem I’m having now is that studio one keeps crashing for some reason and I’ve done the update
Hello dear friend, I greet you cordially from Venezuela ... I have Studio One 5 and I don't have the option to add the VST files ... Please could you help me? Thank you very much...!
I have studio one 4 Artist and the vst plugins does not appear, would I have to get an extension or add on to get this and if so, what is this add on or extension called?
Hello, thank you. I realize this is an old vid but yesterday I uploaded 2 softube plugins on studio One 5 and I noticed they were duplicated installs. Then I noticed that my channel strip selection was not longer showing a new channel strip previously installed (before this install). Now Studio one has a new error location program. It did not pick up on it yesterday. I hope after a reboot it does today. I'm not sure how to fix it if it doesn't.
Are you using Studio Prime? In that case unfortunately you will not see the VST Plugin tab; it is only available for Studio One Professional or Artist. check this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OA2VRKpAW64.html
One more thing i can throw in for you guys is if your plug in isnt showing up , actually it could very well be in studio ine but its hidden. If you go to your files and instruments settings and click the little wrench icon it will show you another list where the plug in may or may not be and when you use it it unhides itsself. Had this happen once when i installed a plug in. But im gonna try some of these methods today tho. Totally having an issue with a new plug in im trying to use.
I did all three steps, and the last ten or so Universal Audio plugins I have gotten are still not showing up. I can see them and use them in UAD console, but not in the daw...frustrating. Any other ideas?
Supercy I figured out what the problem was. I had to go into “plugin manager” then go down the list and hit the little dot on the left of each plugin I added. With universal audio plugins, you basically have all the files on the computer that link with their hardware. For some reason after they were authorized on the hardware (apollo twin), it wouldnt open in S1 until I checked the dot by each plugin. This has never happened before, but I am stoked all the plugins work now. This also let me uncheck some plugins I dont want to see, like some duplicates that have both vst2 and vst3. Thanks!
If you open the "Studio One" menu (at the top of the screen), then choose "Options", then go to "Locations" and then choose "Sound Sets" ... that is where you can tell Studio One where it can find your Sound Sets. Hope this helps!
My problem is worse, I have Fabfilter ProQ3. I have a project saved with it. Suddenly, after reopening Studio One, it could not find the plugin. None of these solutions worked for me. My FL Studio can still find it. What can I do? Studio One community forum is useless, no one ever replies.
Even after including the Waves GTR3 path (and the number of plug-ins increases in SCAN), the GTR3 option does not appear in the effects menu. I've done steps 1, 2 and 3 several times. I do not know what else to do.
Mannnnn you were sent from God! Lol! Bought some new Waves plugins and they wouldn't show for nothing. Been struggling for a week and your last tip saved me bro!!!
Hello, i just bought a sound card presonus so they give me Studio One, im tryin to add free plug ins but i didnt have the "VST Plug ins" thing..... 🧐🤔 Can someone help me ??
