@@musart I don't know yet. I do know that if you use sidechaining on this plug in the key filter is focused on the sidechain. I am currently using fat channel on a bass guitar channel sidechained to my kick in, and it's provided a more cohesive relationship between the two.
Hi Tim, i wonder if i should buy some Neve 1073 emulations (Scheps 73, Burnlay 73, marconi sknote ...etc) What do you think about the fat channel "vintage Eq" ? can it be compared ? what does it worth ? Many thanks !
I think that the neve 1081 and the 1073 emulations are good. In fact the vintage 3 band eq is on of the few 1073 emulations that recreats the dark fat tone. The others are always too brigth.

Unpopular opinion: I transitioned from Pro Tools to Studio One as a mixing engineer, and the first con. about the DAW were the very low quality stock plugins. Nah, but seriously. The stock opto compressor (LA-2A emu) and the FET compressor (1176 emu) are the worst ever sounding LA-2A and 1176 emulations I've ever heard. Same goes to the Pultec, SSL Bus comp. IMO even Logic did a better job making them sound like the original units. Not complaining about not having better plugins, it's just UAD DSP u know...
