Isn't it somewhat weird that this particular ratio from Bolt puts the x-cross in the red circle (referring to the amroc tool) on the edge of the Bolt Area; halfway in / halfway out?

Would a recommended room dimension be pre or post acoustic treatment? For example, I’ve heard a studio incorporate a 6’ bass absorbing “area” behind one of the studio walls (random value - not sure of exact depth). Would a room dimension include such an area or would the room dimension be the finished space - after any such areas, panels, clouds, etcetera?

Good question! When it comes to room modes and optimal dimensions - you take the measurements to the room boundaries (drywall, hardwood, etc.) not the acoustical treatment. Thanks for watching!
