Legitimately impressed with the level of complexity in that transformation. Most Primal figs do next to nothing with the arms, but that's really impressive.
Unfortunately i dont think he will, i saw an announcement earlier mentioning that hasbro has halted further production and that pre-orders are being cancelled, and if any more would be made it wouldn't be for five years bc of an exclusivity contract with target apparently? Idk im just sharing info
@@dPark12345678dude it's just a comment relax man. Do you get kicks out of being a hypocrite on the Internet cus by you pulling him up on the belittling thing you just belittled him...
A core class listing was leaked a few months ago. No pictures released yet though. Most likely will be released in the same wave with wheeljack and the potential scorponok leaked listing if true.
@@goofybruh3204 I'm pretty sure Scorponok was confirmed by a trusted source, and there will no doubt be a Commander/Leader class Stratosphere in the next few years
But Emgo, more paint would cost 0.005 cents per figure, Hasbro can't possibly afford that with how inexpensive these figures, especially Leader Class, are! Also, LOVE the pose you put him in for the end-of-review turntable segment, super dynamic!
@@HobbitOfChaos About the Leader class figures and how inexpensive they are and how Hasbro can't possibly afford more paint apps on them? Yes, I was being sarcastic.
I was Certainly surprised by this Primal have a legit Arm transformation!. Primal figures never have those. That just makes me want this guy even more.
man this is the real magic and power of the maximals. so back in the 90's when transformers franchise is slowly starting to fail, beast wars came out. but now with the transformers movie franchise slowly falling down, they somehow reappeared in the new film rise of the beasts. they literally appear when we needed them the most.
I'm hoping they make an Apelinq remold for this figure. A new head and new shoulderpads would be easy enough, but that piece of armour Apelinq has attached to his collarbone might get in the way of swinging his backpack over his shoulders, and the most distinctive difference between him and Primal - his bladed gauntlets - really don't look like they'd have anywhere to go, unless you deliberately mistransformed his arms.
I feel like they got it wrong on the back of the box how the arms are transformed in ape mode. It just makes more sense to have the fur on the outside. Even the art on the front of the box shows the fur on the outside of the arms lol
@@drstephenstrange897 Was asking you *if* you seen his videos, but auto correct seemed to change "seen" to "scene" for some reason. Fixed it, had to do it twice since the first attempt to fix didn't take.
I definitely have my nitpicks with this figure but they’re very much negligible as they’re simple fixes I can do myself. Can not wait for my preorder to ship
One, surprised that there was no complaint from Prime about Primal’s family tree. Two, was this a call to how Primal being Prime’s descendant in the Beast Wars show? Three, going to agree with Primal on the name change thing.
All the detailing, engineering, and paint is nice, but man, that has got to be the smallest leader class figure I've ever seen. Doesn't make me hopeful about the future of leaders.
Optimus Primal is the leader of the Maximals. He comes in a closed box package. This figure forms into a gorilla with the robot mode features are facing backwards.
So! I got a leader class studio series Optimus Primal Box with a deluxe Optimus Primal in it. So, l ended up paying 5 bucks for the incorrect figure and incorrect box.
@Emgo just got the figure, you might have missed that the key also splits and can ve connected to the chains. Don't know if it's in the instructions since I always just toss them and look at your video xD
actually been wait for the ko ver by bmb or weijiang, to get the jumbo size. i mean is it worth the wait that they gon create the optimus primal ver or should i just buy this studio ver optimus primal? thanks
looks great already ordered it but goddamn that face unsettling💀. should have gave him his mask (I find it weird that there's one scene without his mask and that's what they used but optimus has been seen in multiple films without his mask talking but for the most part all ss figures have with his mask on 🤣
Hay emgo tray attaching 1 part of the chain to the have of the plug connection port on the Cobble on battle traps arm and then the other have into the end of the made to try mack ing a full made with chain
I can't wait to not be able to find this figure anywhere. Seriously hasbro sucks with their production lately. It feels like a lot of their stuff is one step above limited edition, they're so hard to get. Preorders get sold out immediately and now some of them are starting to get cancelled. Don't know what the deal is but they need to sort their stuff out. Otherwise what's the point of being a fan?
So I just realized something as I’m messing with my copy of this figure. It has aspects of not just normal Optimus Prime transformations, but also TransMetal Primal, which was one of my first ever Transformers figures. The transformation of this figure immediately made it one of my favorite figures ever!
Theory on the pin in the ax: maybe the ax was supposed to split so you could plug the ax into Prime's hand so it would look like that G1 episode, but it was scrapped last minute But hey, that's just a theory
Important Note: The included Transwarp Key can split in two, just like the movie! You will be miffed over the fact that one end has a peg and the other half a 3mm hole, though.
