From bowl cozies, to bags, to garments, to quilts! Bought my Moxie last year after seeing Vanessa demonstrate it ❤ Vanessa really cares about her students and is an amazing instructor! She was my go to beginning sewing tutor. I started in 2012. I would look for specific techniques like installing a zipper or something and Vanessa was instrumental in my learning experience. She and a few other channels really got me going. Thank you for sharing.

Excellent interview, thanks for sharing it! I found Vanessa online right before she started her online quilt club in early 2015. The community she created and continues to grow has been life changing for me as a new sewist. I have learned how to quilt and make bags and garments through her online courses and in person retreats, but the best part has been the lifelong friendships I have made all over the U.S. and the world. Vanessa is not only a talented mentor but a friend I feel so blessed to have. I can't wait to see what she does next with Handiquilter!

I am a Vanessa subscriber; and I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I’m a happier quilter with my ProStitcher. I’m a bit of a perfectionist, and my FMQ just didn’t please me. I’ve only had it about 6 months and have done mostly E2E. Looking forward to learning to custom quilt. Thanks for a great video.
