Hi friends! We are back with another studio tour, which I think y'all are going to LOVE! Talented fiber artist, Hanna Eidson, invited us into her studio space and shared her lovely artwork with us. It's bright, bold, playful and colorful - my favorite things! Whether you are a complete newbie to tufting, rug hooking and sewing (like me) or know your way around these tools, you will find something to love in this artist studio. We also get introduced to her "studio assistant", Ganga, who is too cute for words. Thank you, Hanna for sharing your work space with us! :)

I love her staircase too! Zelda will need some of her own eventually to get up and down to my studio so I’m pinning that idea! :)

I rember back in the early eights learning about rug hooking i got hooked...lol..i also though about tuffting but life happened...lol but tuffting is alaways made me smile when i hear about it, i always found it amazing,but i found weaving and rug making very interesting,theres so many art forms...i think this artist is amazing i think she should try to make high top sneakers, and peanut butter jars in her 3d style....might sell well especially for teens or children..i also think it awesome that she buys her yarn local from other artists....just a thought i like structural art also but fabric art...my thought maybe to learn more about the knitting machine is to contact a fabric museum they might be able to steer her to artist that can teach her more..very interesting and inspiring video me to fiona i love functional art im alway think i wonder who design this and production involved and such.. watched video twice as i enjoyed it so much...mikelle art mom👩‍🎨🎨💛

Thank you for sharing this Hooker, Hanna Eidson, she is so talented. I shared it with my friend Anne, also a talented hooker. She just doesn’t know how good she is. The branching out you are doing is so awesome, I know Anne will be excited to see it as I was.😁🥳I’m going to check on it myself. I love everything art and I love hooked rug… works of art that should never know the feel of feet…. Except for the step rugs… 🤔 I’d probably give people booties to though. 🤭 From my mountain top, where the hilltops kiss 💋the sky🌞 day and 🌝 night. Fran

Ok, first off, awesome art and artist. Also, we gotta talk about that amazing house! How colorful, quirky and cool!! ^_^ Also, I looked up monk's cloth, which is just as straightforward as you might think, and come to think of it, I've actually seen habits made of a variation of it.

ah yes the giant knitting machines, there were a few at uni textiles course argued over to use. no idea how to use one lol sorry but when they do work, the results can be really cool 😀
