I’m amazed at how much of a difference the change to Peppamint’s outline made to the vibrancy of the sticker. Very cool lesson. My favourite sticker pack is the Peppamint one, as I seem to have a slight obsession with cats, even though I have no cat myself, nor am likely to have one, since my son has an allergy to cats. I love your cat, Fluffy, Catherine. 🐈⬛ ❤
I would love these stickers as like a window cling. So I could put some in my windows for the holiday. I live in a apartment so I can't really do decorations outside.
I also always use the knock off cutting mats and they are indeed stickier and also less flexible than the original mats but i just stick them a couple of times to a plaid or sofa so they get less sticky. The price difference is definitely worth this minor inconvenience for me especially as the durability for the cutting mats (how long they remain sticky enough to use them) are the same - cheaper knock offs definitely for the win for me!
This was a great vlog, amazing, all the wonderful work you do. I'm sure I'm not the only one that sees how much you love it. You are definitely an inspiration to me a others.
I almost exclusively make sticker sheets now, but recently wondered if i should get back to making more die cut stickers. I do love a good sticker pack.
Love the peppermint tangled in the lights! So sweet! And you're absolutely right, the change in outline color really does make ask the other colors look warmer and pop more. Nice!!!
I'm surprised you don't do the full sheet trick for cutting on cricut complements of Mr. Eric Boyd. It works great! Love watching your videos, thank you so much for sharing your journey.
@@KatnippStudios Here is his tutorial. I love it because you actually print directly from photoshop (so better quality print!). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xk33hSpLG9c.html
that line in cricut happened to me too, stupid glitch when i printed there was no line so thats good! hopefully it worked for you. I defintily need to invest in learning how to use photoshop.
Uuuuuughh - I get you with the Cricut glitches! Mine have come close to being chucked out of the window many, many times! Usually those glitches don't actually print, even though they show up at every point until you get them out of the printer! Love your videos - great company while I'm working in mine 💕
Love it when I see a new video I get so excited I live the new sticker packs how cute u should do one of the cat with the sweater it’ll be so cute love your creations so much 😍🥰💖💖💖💖💖💖
Thanks for another great vlog. You‘re great company when I’m either packing orders or working in the kitchen. You help inspire me to keep on keeping on, thank you!
I hope you are okay? I just sensed you weren't quite your usual self :( I hope you aren't too stressed or burnt out - you are such a wonderfully kind human who gives so much to the craft community. Hope you get time to refill your cup and look after yourself. Thank you for another lovely vlog. Hope you're doing okay x
Omg I had those silly lines on my one too. For some reason when uploading from a Mac those lines appeared. My fix so far is uploading via iPad and then the file is fine. I hope the glitch is fixed now!
Cricut has been adding lines to some of my PNGs too, but when I print them out they print fine! No idea why the program shows it, but when I did a test print it was fine :)
❤❤ just a thought about your backing cards mayb print a blank square/spot where the stickers will be sitting that way you don’t use up ink printing that entire card pink ❤❤ could b a heart shape or something - I do a bit of printing and know ink running out is such a costly thing
Hi Catherine, I love your content and want to start my own buisness like yours in future. What heat press do you have and where did you get it from? Much luv xx❤
Hello, I love puddin in the box! LOL It was interesting to watch you put more sticker paper on your mat, over the bits that stuck, I will do this next time and not worry about getting the left overs off. Good Idea....and, I love that you make sticker packs for your characters instead of sheets. Another good idea. I'm still working on my pup illustrations for this idea! Love Love your channel, thanks so much for sharing!🤩🥰
Inspirational As always ❤ I would love to see a tutorial about how you “hack” the circuit with PS to get more stickers out of a paper, for me Design space always want me to “shrink” the png and there are lots of waste of the paper 😊
Hello! WRT to the printing artifacts in cricut? try opening a brand new file and cut and paste in the same images. See if that does it. It seems that there is a corruption in the file, so maybe trying to open an new different file and then pasting into that will sort it out? Not sure, but it's worth a go?? Cheers!
have loved your vids/illustrations for a long while now and am catching up with some of your vids! i'm curious if there's a reason for your preferences to do sticker packs vs sticker sheets? love your work - keep it up!
I bought aload of cheap mats also from AliExpress...only ended up being about £1.20 each I got light, standard and strong they were a bit similar to yours too sticky but it soon lost that and went to basically how a cricut one goes after using it for a while...also the had a smell to them which must have been the type of adhesive they used
Love these videos. Where do you get those self assembly storage boxes from. The one you put the sticker packs in at the end. I make card banners and garlands and these would be great for storage. Thanks.
So happy the transfers are working well for you and that people love that design you didn’t even intend to sell! I’ve been looking at cricut machines for my own sticker purposes, would you recommend any specific one? There seems to be many different types and some are super pricey. I wasn’t sure what type of sticker paper to use either, not sure if you have suggestions I know some don’t like to disclose it and I totally understand. I also really appreciate your breakdown of what you do and how you make things, it’s super inspiring and I love seeing the process!
Hmmmm Im not sure actually I only have experience with my Cricut air explore 2's I've not tried any other there is the silhoutte pro, and I know alot of other businesses who use Silhoutte! But other than that Im not too sure!
Hi kat! I was wondering what printer do you use to print out your stickers? Or what would be the best printers to consider buying ?:) i heard epson ecotank is good but not sure what model i should go with. Really appreciate it if you can get back to me! Otherwise have a fantastic day❤🥺🥺 love your videos
The glitchy line that cricut is putting on your screen wont print on the actual stickers.. I have had this happen several times lately and also sometimes when I go to the print screen dialogue box the design on my actual drawing is gone, I have the outline of the sticker showing but no details on the screen. I finally just printed one to see what would print and realized its just showing up on the screen but not what is actually printing.. So bizzare, I think its a problem with their program right now or something..
you are looking fabulous, lady! I love your videos, I can only hope my brand new shop reaches your success. Can I ask what sticker paper you are using I used a glossy one and my cricut did not like it one bit :(
I am current;y trying a new Vinyl matte sticker! I havent decided on my facourite yet though, each printer/cricut always needs some different paper testing its a nightmare 🤣
The same issue with Cricut happened to me a couple weeks ago. There were weird lines. I did the same as you…checked my file…deleted…redo. It STILL happened. I did a test print and the lines did NOT print. Just weird. Looking forward to upgrading to a more professional cutting machine soon.
Hey can I ask how you found that 3d vacuum heat oven...I saw you comment on a video saying you had a issue with it a d I've not noticed you use one I was thinking of getting one
I always sell my seconds unless it's a major bodgejob Sometimes I don't align images on coasters correct...it's rare but happens and so there could be a thin white line of coaster where the image isn't on. Sometimes mugs also. I just charge alot less but I still always make my money back on the cost of the item and paper etc I actually solved the issue where on print and cuts it would start cutting a bit off....as odd as it sounds it's if you get too much natural....or non-natural lighting getting in the way of the cricuts light it uses when it scans the black lines. I could not believe it was this that caused me so much issues, so now depending on the room I am in I always leave the top lid down BUT if it's still too bright I have a price of material I drop over the top so it hangs over the front gap...just enough to cover but not so it touches the mat.....never had the issue since
By the way if I comment loads of times it's becaus einusually comment as I come up to each section of the video haha I had issues with mugs but not smashed thankfully but where the outside coasting didn't quid cover the mug right....or the tops of the handles had a tabacco coloured stain on them like it had been missed when being sprayed a right pain...but I got a refund and to keep them so I sold them all as seconds so a bit cheaper but obv 100% profit....on the mug side of costs anyway
