There are alternative mats you can buy on Amazon.. they give you 3 in a pack for a much lower cost and they last just as long.. they are the same green color the brand is Nicaea

Just a little tip/idea in regards to the cutting mat, I simply tape the corners of the paper with tape and I have no problems with the cutting machine :) My cutting mat hasn't been sticky for almost a year lol but I am still using it to make stickers as per normal

heheh thank youu! We started doing this, but the planner stickers would move the sheet and then cut at weird angles and overlap the other ones :') sob sob! RIP cricut mats! 🌸🌸

I alway use my cricut mats until they split in 2 and even then, I sometimes use duct tape on the back to use them that bit longer. If they lose the stickiness I wash them in the sink with water and dishwater soap using a nail brush. Sometimes that alone is enough. If not, I restick them with a mixture of a little drop of Aleene's® Tack-It Over & Over and water. If they are in a really bad shape, I remove everything using a Glue Remover from HG (and restick again like before).

hahah thats what I did! two of mine split so I put duct tape on the back and got another good 6 months out of them, but now they are dead beyond repair hehe, thank you for the tips!

The best thing I've found that makes the Cricut mats sticky again is called "Aleene's 4oz Tack It Over Fabric Glue" on Amazon. It's been a lifesaver for me. You only need a tiny amount of it on each mat and it brings it up like new!

i always recommend elderberry tea for colds. and rest. also u can make the tabbed index cards with your cricut, no? or just make the tabs and stick them on a rectangle. feel better soon.

Post-it brand sticky notes has a sticky poster board that's 18" x23". It is perfect for using as a receiver for your cutter. You can get it on Amazon.

Something I found usable at a pinch on non-sticky cricut mats is the prepositional fabric glue. Only spray on a small amount, spray it onto the mat and let it part dry before putting the stickers down. If you put the paper down too soon you will get glue residue on the back of the stickers as well.

I have a silhouette and to restick my mats I first clean with rubbing alcohol then I use a product called sticky mat adhesive, you apply with a brush or sponge and let it dry, it's fantastic stuff I've had my bottle a few years now, and I still have half a bottle left. Great videos BTW. 😊

You can cut sticker paper without a mat with the silhouette cameo or portrait. Not sure what you’d have to do to make your files compatible.

But lately I have had the feeling that you have been overworking yourself, so I would totally understand that you take it slower for a while. The new silhouette cameo 4 does not require cutting mats ! Also you can buy generic cutting mats for cricket or silhouette on eBay 3 pack of 12x12 for £10 and free delivery ! X

I don’t have the cameo 4 - yet !! It was only released in the UK a week ago the only place I can find it on sale is craftelier £289 I can deffo recommend the brand I’ve been using them for years the software is really good. I’ve posted a link to someone’s vlog showing what the new machine does. it’s a long one but the first 10 mins are WOW with the speed of it, the quietness, the cutting without a mat. Sorry your family lost their holiday. Hopefully they will fine something else eventually, or your can all rebook together. I finally got my sister back last night as there was space in a flight back to the UK, she had been working as a kids and teens rep overseas with TC. Sad times, but At least we have an episode of studio vlogs that we can watch together now 🙌 x x
