Studiologic Numa Compact 2 Demo & Review

Wonderful review! I sold a 65 lb Roland Fantom X8 (about 80 lb in its case!) and replaced it with a Studiologic Numa Compact 2. I have no regrets whatsoever! While the keybed action of the Numa Compact 2 will never be mistaken for a real piano, its size and weight more than make up for that! I'm still blown away by how light it is. PLUS, it has one thing that most digital pianos do NOT have: AFTERTOUCH! :-) The sounds that come with it along with the effects are outstanding. Thank you for a great review, Sir. Your videos are always informative and your playing is awesome!

it's about the same size as the SL88 but the SL88 is MIDI only. The Fatar keybeds feel really nice.

El mejor review sin duda Lo mejor que tiene este teclado es sin duda el precio y las prestaciones. Muy ligero, un teclado con buen sentimiento. Los sonidos de piano me gustan bastante, dos de ellos son los que me terminaron de convencer para comprar este Numa compact2. Tengo muchos pianos de escena de alto nivel, lo que cuesta este es una risa para lo bien hecho que está en muchos aspectos. Como nota negativa, los órganos no están tan bien, aunque con un buen simulador de Leslie dan el pego. Buena opción si quieres un piano de escena todo terreno, que no pesa nada, tiene unos altavoces integrados de 10w que suenan bien para andar por casa o en sitios pequeños.

Can someone please recommend me to a 61 key version of this kind of keyboard? I'm looking for a real piano feel but also something I can control the sound on the keyboard itself.

I know there are english subs which I do so appreciate! Hats off to all involved in that. I just wanted to highlight that if you turn on AUTO translate and set it to english. It's almost perfect now. It used to be so bad like he'd talk about how great a trumpet is and the translate would say "tom has a pet sound is grey tea box" and you'd almost be able to understand what was being said from the odd word. Now its just perfect sentences! I'm wondering is auto translate just using the normal subs or has it really gotten that much better?

Thank you for the review. They should have made 73 key version . If the idea is to be compact and take it to gigs without a car.... There isn't a practical need for full 88 key bed for a portable gig keyboard.

sounds kinda bright and digital, but it's cool. this thing has usable sounds especially for church. that phaser ep is horrible tho. I'd still buy it. light, and it resembles a midi controller so I'd have this thing at work. from making beats to playing at shows, id use it with maybe a mx49 from Yamaha to accompany

Does this have smooth sound transition?

It has that kind of Roland sound to it, where everything sounds slick, smooth, overly synthetic even on the acoustic sounds. I'm more interested in knowing what the key action and feel might be like, although I appreciate I should find somewhere to demo it myself for that kind of thing.

What brand and model number are the pair of speakers in the background?
