David, Great content. 8:02 Spaced repetition. Making time to review is my biggest challenge. While I am learning each knowledge area I find it extremely difficult to make time to go back and review the previous knowledge area. By the time I am trying to stuff this new huge knowledge area in there is little time to review the older ones. On top of learning each knowledge area, reviewing snowballs and it can become very time-consuming to review hundreds of note cards. Are you saying to take a day and just go over the hundreds of notes on days 3, 7, 10? I completely agree that reviewing is where the magic of putting the concepts together happens. I tend to get overwhelmed with all this information coming at me and the questions give these specific scenarios. I do not have all this ironed out yet. I love your analogy that learning Salesforce is a giant puzzle. Maybe as time goes on it will soak in more and make more sense. Learning+Review +Time =Mastery ?
Hey Susie. I would go over different notes on different days so you read I’ve the same notes on day 3, 7, and 10. You will be reviewing notes every day. Try and make your notes as short form as possible, rather than long drawn out paragraphs try and reduce them to short statements or ideally bullet points.
