Men are also aware that the preferred gender with jobs is also not theirs. Imagine studying STEM, yet the few women who study it will get offered more jobs simply for their gender.

Exactly. Some of my friends are in IT sector. They told me employers hire women over more qualified men for diversity and imagine having 80k dollar student loan on your shoulder and then employers will hire a less qualified woman over you.

so true, at 66 I look back at my college years, it was mostly hard classes, loneliness, isolation , and frustration, 74-80 at Ohio State, got a BA in history, totally worthless, got MLS libry. degree later and made a living from it, wouldn't do it again -- college is fine if you get marketable degree, if you don't you wasted your time

This is true if you get a worthless degree. Many people are lazy or afraid to deal with math, so they go for degrees like psychology, sociology, fashion design, gender studies, and African studies. But if you get one in engineering, accounting, physics or law, life is considerably different. I love history, but unless you get a masters and teach it at the local university, you're toast. What I've found is that most people who say college is overrated/not worth it, tend to have gotten a worthless degree, didn't finish college, or never attended in the first place. (Sour grapes criticism.)

People are figuring out that if you really want to learn some thing it’s available online. And you won’t be in debt for the rest of your life. If someone requires a document to prove you know what you’re talking about, you don’t want to deal with those people anyhow.

The real problem, is that men have no way to get rid of feminists other than to let them rot on the vine. Women better figure this out real quick, or they are going to find themselves in the League of Former Feminists (LFF), which is currently accumulating thousands of 40 year-old childless spinsters who can't get a date or be in a family nearly every day. I can already see it in the culture, women are starting to panic, and it ain't pretty.

College TEXTBOOK MAFIA doesn't help. Freshman-junior level math subjects don't change. Yet, the textbook companies bribe math departments to adopt the ' new edition ' of a calculus book, just two years after it was released. So you buy the book for $100 dollars, and the trade in value is $7.50.

Men not going to college isn't a problem so long as they're obtaining other marketable skills. I know a lot of people working in trades, trucking, and real estate that don't have degrees who make more than a lot of college grads do. People just seem to forget that education in itself isn't the end goal as its useless if you can't apply it to anything, making money is the end goal, and these days a CDL you can get in a few weeks for a few thousand dollars is a better investment for most people than a bachelors degree that takes 4 years and tens of thousands of dollars. I can't imagine for a lot of young men these days its not entirely that colleges have become so toxic to conservative ideas and toxic to men in general, but its also just economics. For example, if you can start making 70k+ a year driving truck at 18 when a lot of college grads don't really start their careers until 22 and don't make that much, why not just drive truck?

I second this. I attended an elite American university. Coming from India where the universities are quite woke, I was shocked to see that American universities are at a different level of wokism that is simply unheard outside. As a man, I felt constantly suppressed in discussions which would always somehow go in the direction of equality, feminism etc even in some STEM classes. I once gave a counter point to one particular obnoxious woke and was attacked by a gang. Their argument, "How dare you as a person of colour think differently than us? Be our sidekick or we will cancel you."

It really depends on the major. Males still gravitate toward the STEM degrees and are usually the majority in fields like Computer Science and Engineering.

Well my son tried to go this year, but two weeks before school started the college decided to go full dystopian, totally doing a 180 from their position in the summer. The students would have to wear masks everywhere except their dorm rooms, be tested weekly, be tracked on their phones and quarantined if necessary, and social distance, in college, when you’re supposed to have parties and socialize. The state had none of these laws in place and I told them they have no legal authority for any of it. Quarantining anyone without some state law or mandate is kidnapping and I wouldn’t hesitate to press charges. I got my money back and we drove home. He has two jobs now and will probably never go back to a college. They lose, not him.

Men: Go to community college to study a solid field, STEM, business or something. Work on the side to pay for stuff and stay away from all "college fraternities". Pick some male fellow students to study with who are just as serious as you are. If you think someone is there to party, stay away. You take classes to pass. Transfer to a solid in-state public school and get your degree asap. Once again, stay away from all partying endeavours. Most of all: Stay single! It's legal to stay single and it's the best choice!

This also will affect dating and relationships. When it comes to educational and career credentials, for the most part men don’t want to marry up and women don’t want to marry down. This includes both degrees and income. A woman with a degree in a no pay major who works a minimum wage job may prefer to avoid a man who attended a trade school and has a decent income. And if colleges have 3 women for every 2 men, there is less incentive for the men to commit to a single woman.

It's not a matter of marrying up for men. People need to stop valuing income and degreed as something men value in general🙄. I have no degrees and I still have never put ANY thoughts into a womens degrees or how much they make. Most I do is ask if they have a job. Primarily to see if they have any concept of financial responsibility. Not so much the job or money they make itself🤔🤷‍♂️

It isn't just men. Prospective students and their parents are beginning to realize that they aren't getting their money's worth at many colleges and universities, particularly our "elite" ones. Worse, the real advances in almost every industry today are taking place off campus in corporations, large and small. Many high paying jobs require no college degree. If you do need a degree for your chosen profession, you can get an excellent education at a local community college or branch campus without the hefty tuition charged by "elite" colleges that are selling little more than status. Finally, corporations are increasingly hiring men and women as temporary hires to see if they can do the work, regardless of their degree. In fact, corporate executives are aware of the neo-Marxist attitudes of our elite universities and colleges and cast a jaundiced eye on their graduates. Most businesses don't want a political activist in their midst.

I can relate I’m a Substitute and I had to take a different assignment because I was being bullied by a female secretary. Finally, spoke up and the district manager told me that the secretary is just intense. So, I figured that its okay be harassed. I feel very mistreated. And the student I was working with (female) is now regressing, unfortunate.

K-12 schools are set up for girls. Colleges are set up for young women. Young men should go to trade schools. To hell with college unless it’s for STEM. A word for the young women. No man is looking for a “career woman”. If you’re more interested in a career than being a wife and mother, don’t plan on a marriage or children. Don’t regret your decision because you can’t really “have it all”. You’re on a shorter time line than men are. When you hit your early 30’s your ability to attract men starts to drop dramatically. By the time you hit 40, you will not be getting asked out 1/4th as much if at all compared to your early 20’s. Your peak attraction is in your early to late 20’s. Don’t waste it.

Back in the 90s, we were told to go to college and "you'll figure out what you want to do." That's when tuition was $5000/year. Now, unless there is a really REALLY good reason to go to college- for the career that you already know you want- no one should go to college. We have forty year olds still paying off loans they took out when they were 18- getting degrees that they aren't using at all. Total scam.

Want to be an engineer. Start a school that teaches: "engineering".....and nothing else except maybe English/writing. Which is needed to communicate effectively. And no frills. Just a cafeteria! Oh, and do not accept federal funding in any form. This will lower tuition as well.

College is too hard for the little reward you get when you inevitably fail. If you're able to go through it and pass with something like a CS degree then the debt is worth it because you'll be making so much you'd be able to pay it off. But that isn't what happens. But what usually happens is that you spend all that money accumulating all that debt and you don't even end up passing.

by the late 60's, men started to be able to play around in college. BC pill, changing attitudes. Um, what man wants to take the risk of playing with the ladies now? I didn't, when I was in college, I concentrated on doing well. The bad boys in the colleges I attended almost needed one of those number machines, like in the supermarket, to keep up with all the bad girls that wanted to be with them. I'm not kidding. I looked at those women closely- all were in their early 20's, and they LOOKED like they were in their mid-30's. At least. They were irritable enough that I put my cloak of invisibility on- i.e. being a beta male. I know of a guy who, out of high school, got great financial aid- for trade school, to be an electrician. He made some good money for 2 years, and went to college, to be an electrical engineer. He'd work summers as an electrician, making good money. Got his EE degree. If he got laid off from one job, he'd find another, and he was doing well. And, driving an old pickup truck, the vam pire ladies didn't bother him. Also, being a man in college, now, kind of feels like being a je wish person in 1930's Germany, and for the same reasons. I will say Chad and Tyrone are having a field day, they are turning away more than they get, and they get a lot.

Plenty of well paying blue collar jobs. Find one of those, teach yourself personal finance (its easy), have a healthy lifestyle with healthy hobbies. Oh and NEVER get married gentlemen it only offers men potential financial ruin. Basic plan to a rewarding life.❤👍

The trade course I go to has pictures of women on the course information page. But of the 1000 students its 990 men.Before covid the college was bringing in women from different courses in the main campus to have thier class in the trade building. Its was fake to make it look like women where there lol

First off, college is growing more and more hostile to men. Secondly, why would I want to go to college, get in massive debt for a questionable degree, in a place where I am villainized for existing, or I can go to trade school, get paid to be there, learn a skill that I can take anywhere for life, and still make 6 figures. Buddy of mine from the military used his GI bill and became an underwater wielder and is making bank. Like, more than our officers in the service made kind of bank. Went into critical facilities tech myself and I am buying a third house.

At the highest levels of engineering because of my age…I only see women being fast-tracked while men are just grunts. Totally left out. It is so staggered that there is no reason to keep gender as a crutch and nothing for the men. As difficult as it is for me to say but these new “engineers” are not the quality needed. The few that surpass standards are unicorns but are put in leadership roles.

Whatever. I have had two sons finish school. One from a STEM school that was 20% more Male than Female. Another son that graduated from one of the top Art schools that was 2 to 1 female over male and he was not treated like a monster. His biggest issue was the attention he was getting by staying fit and being one of the few guys on campus. The only thing truthful thing in this video is that men are opting to go to trade schools because we are seeing a rise in pay for those with skills and fewer people in the labor market with them. There is a valid argument about only accepting students based on race and gender, but this is nothing more than evangelicals not liking hearing stories about female students being assaulted and fraternities being closed down because of male behavior. The stories shine a light on these issues and the need to address them. Not one policy or document was sited from the schools mentioned that proved that the faculty was telling men that they are the problem because they are men.

What are the examples of men being mistreated in collage? In my country universities are free so "top dollar" argument doesn't really speak to me + women have to pay as much in the US, don't they? I know in some countries women had been banned in the past for attending universities but I have never heard of the opposite

Title 9 no due process is a scandal , anti male ideologies with no evidence base . The female attendance is also massively distorted by nursing , teaching and social work all now degree based. College degree not a good way of training for most jobs college will see huge decline over coming years as online learning wipes them out .

Many men are choosing other routes to get education, the issue is with colleges that requires men to take classes like diversity to get a degree in programing. its required to take a class that teaches men that they are guilty because of pass issues. they will guilt trip you for things your ancestors did. men are held to higher standards than women on campus. if both parties get drunk and have bedroom fun, the guy is on the hook for charges because she regrets it. no due process for men. you can be falsely accused of r4pe and the schools will assume your guilty. women have an easier path in paying colleges because scholarships tend to favor women. every day feels like your walking on eggshells because of the pc culture colleges have. Title 9 is a one-way street.

College students are just a vessel to move money and if they rent most will be on assistance at the end of there lives. Females especially.
