Good stuff....regarding context....love the quote: "if you take the TEXT out of CONTEXT you are left with a CON". So important to understand the context....thanks for pointing that out!
Thank you so much for the way you addressed divorce and marriage. I am in tears. I am in my third marriage and I have repented! Praise the Lord that he forgives divorce. Thank you Kanoy so much for elaborating on this. God bless you all of your very long and prosperous life! And praise Jesus I love you Lord!❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
I understand how you feel. Those of us whom have been thru the heartbreak of divorce can feel condemned. None of us entered marriage anticipating divorce, Thank you Jesus for setting us free. Thank you Jesus for loving us thru it all.
Wonderful as always!!! I am just wondering how many times you have been thru the scriptures. You sure pull alot out!!! I pray that the Lord will open up my mind to get half of what you know!!! alright, maybe a third!!! LOL 😊
Hi Kanoe. I'm in New Hampshire and I have followed you since Genesis of the 2023 Bible study. I am looking forward to your 2024 study once I'm all caught up❤
Re Deut Chapter 25? 'and puts out her hand and seizes him by the genitals. V 12 then you shall cut off her hand...' I see this as maintaining the tribes, protecting the family, passing down the family name was of most importance. This was a way of punishing anyone jeopardizing the man from fathering children. When studying this with you, this is how I understood verse 11, 12.
Some of these passages dont feel really nice especially when you see women put at a lower place but we're pushing through😂❤ Me when she said about mixed marriages : 😢😢 🤣
Just a suggestion, I don't know what you plan to do after the bible study is over but would it be helpful to jot subjects that you're not completely sure of and do further study? Some things you've mentioned I've jotted down to look into further such as slavery.
Thank you for your video. God bless you for keeping up with people like me that are so far behind and your still answering us. Just before 48:00 you talk of ch. 22:5 About wearing opposite gender clothes. What is the category for that because 200 years ago women basically only wore dresses, or is it like the trends where it changes every year? Because I really only wear a dress for going out. Am I sinning because I have worn man's jeans before, in a they fit me good and are easy to work in manner?
@@ninobk196 Not live...yet. 😉😃 I haven't paid attention to whether or not she's posting at a usual time, but I'm EST as well and I work. Kanoe is in Vegas. I may not check until I get home and I typically see something in the evening by then.
@@monicadennis8206 Thank you. I am in EST as well, so I can just watch them after I finish work in the evening. I need something to do every single night that keeps my mind from wondering and looking at YT videos of every country I want to move to..lol.
Deuteronomy 25:4 means you need to feed the ox, right? I needed to make sure it didn't mean he had to get his own food while working. Thanks for all you do.
The treatment of the women/wives in these chapters is cringe-worthy, for sure, but what it made me think of is the treatment today of women in Muslim countries or some of the other nations who either follow these OT ways but never did let Jesus into their society or they are in agreement with this for other reasons, possibly due to some other religion they follow. But it's like we can see today how stagnant a people can be and how detrimental it is to the females when they (males AND females) let THIS be their standard instead of looking for the heart of God/allowing Jesus to have fulfilled this by showing a better way. Re: 25:11, my Tony Evans commentary is in agreement with my eSword X. Basically, the man's ability to reproduce was SO valuable, that his was a way to protect it, and to promote modesty in the woman as well thus possibly trying to stave off cavalier behavior such as this. I get it, in light of this society, although it still feels like a lot on the woman. But, like you say, if you are looking for the heart of God, then modesty and not acting so indiscriminately toward another would be in character with the Lord.
My NIV bible renders Deuteronomy 23:2 as "No one born of illegitimate birth ..." which is not the same as forbidden marriage to my mind. In my King James' version it reads "A bastard shall not enter ..."
53:57 Where in the bible it's says that when a man and a woman comes together they become one soul ? As far as i read it's says it'a become one body not one soul. Can someone explain it to me. And some says that soul ties aren't biblical either it's new age
I break down the difference in several videos. The spirit of fear is one of terror, dread, or being scared. Fearing him is different- it is a holy awe and reverence of who He is shown through submission and worship.
I'm not sure I agree totally with the spitting it out part. I feel like if I disagree with someone I think I should come to them out of love and say hey I don't agree with this. and have a discussion about it. Cause who knows either you'll learn something from me or I'll learn something from you. In the cases of like being on social media or a pastor I thinik we could come to them in private or in social media a DM. Just my opinion.
I agree- I have always said that I encourage people to bring their thoughts to me. That’s part of the spitting out process in my opinion. But if we continue to disagree, then that’s where the true spitting has to happen and allow Holy Spirit to minister. ❤️
Deuteronomy 25: 11-12 The acts of the woman caused a few deaths, (3) for example. Using bible research/due diligence) for my own understanding: 1)Generational Death: Cutting off his ability to produce offspring/descendants. Descendants are in a man's loins Reading: Hebrews 7: 9-10 2)Sexual Death: Cutting off his ability to produce offspring. A man was considered sexually dead if a man couldn't produce offspring. Reading: Hebrews 11-12 3) Spiritual Death: Cutting him off from spiritual worship. No longer allowed to enter the Lords assembly. Reading: Deuteronomy 23:1 and Leviticus 22:4 This is not wisdom 🙂but a regular person here daily to gain more knowledge❤
