JazakAllah Hkair Brother John. I wonder if you can tell me where to find lists of words for each word shape. Not the verb conjugations, but the patterns. For example, a list of 100 verbal nouns (that in English would end in ing), that in Arabic take the form CuCuuC . I'm very surprised that my internet search for this has turned up nothing.

Salam John, thank you for the quick review. Recently, my Mother was moving house and we came across a very old published version of Al-Mawrid, which had many picture illustrations in it. Unfortunately, she threw it out and I have just started learning Arabic. I wonder if the newer editions have picture illustrations?
@@JohnStarlingHD can you give an example. is the mawrid only for beginners who have little knowledge or no knowledge of Arabic grammar whilst the hans wehr is for intermediate students
