I show you my system for learning new material, and how I take notes to Scope the Subject using OneNote, and how I generate Active Recall questions for the students to answer. Enjoy!

@-- Such animosity and for what reason? There are so many people who are self-centered and arrogant but aren't justified relative to the work they've had to put in. I don't care about his socioeconomic status or his background; becoming a doctor, pursuing medicine, staying busy and passionate, these are all things that I believe warrant self-respect at the least. I don't get if its jealousy, but if Ali is someone that you believe to be self righteous, maybe it'd be nice to put yourself in his shoes. Pursuing medicine engenders a certain type of person. Without those people, there are no beneficiaries of medicine and some of us may not even be here as a result.

Hey Ali, thanks for the video! I‘m a German medical student and I’m currently studying for my 3rd semester exams. You inspire me to do even more active recall. Most of the time I procrastinate by making nice and neat notes until I actually start to actively recall my own notes. BUT over the years of studying I figured out that making my own notes (organising and structuring the subjects) and then actively recalling them by loudly explaining them to myself as if I was in an oral exam works best for me! Though my roommates might be a little confused as to who I‘m talking to all day haha

When you are making questions for active recall in your notes, where do you put the answers? Do you wait until you’re finished with questioning for each topic to then put the answers? I am taking a medical terminology class, and we are assigned chapters in a textbook to read, which also includes a list of essential vocab words at the beginning. In the video you mentioned that you separate the information by topic, and the textbook already does that. Since it’s new content, would I just make questions for each topic, then put the answers at the bottom or something? I hope this makes since, I have been watching your videos since this morning and this is like the 6th one and I swear you are like the smartest most influential person on RU-vid that I’ve ever watched. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR TIPS AND HELP😭👍🏾

Also when I read a lesson,I summarise a paragraph without looking at it, this acts like active recall right? Please tell me if you agree. Hi, Ali! Big fan here from a long time ago. I'm impressed that you don't seem to be tired (or better yet, burnout) after work. So that, I'd like to know what are some of your strategies for enjoying learning at night rather than jumping to bed to sleep because you're exhausted. Hope to see this video idea soon. Best!!

What aspects do I have to think about to make the active recall questions? Or how to turn the content in textbooks to questions? I have been trying to make my own active recall questions but was stuck in what content is needed to turn to questions and how to. I am currently learning economics, international relations and maths.
