Hi loves! I'm back with another video for you:)
I will talk to you about my experience with EF in Miami. I'm being 100% honest and I just made this video to entertain and to inform. So hopefully, again, it will be helpful for u :)
If you have any question regarding a gapyear, my ef experience or Miami itself, please don't hesitate to ask :)
All the music is from Movavi Editor Plus, the editing program I use and which I paid for.
The turtle neck shirt I am wearing is from H&M.
This video overall, is not sponsored, so I did not make this with EF whatsoever.
The editing program I use is Movavi Video Editor 15 Plus. The camera I use is a Nikon 1 J1.

Hii!! Yesss!!! I think it's way better to go inbetween that period than going in Summer. In Summer it's way too hot there and there's a lot of humidity. So I would definitely recommend!

Hey i'm 21 and i want to do EF in Miami. Do people go out at partys and clubs ? do you paid extra for disneyworld? bahamas etc?

Yessss. And yes I paid extra, nothing of the trips is included in what you pay to EF.

@@eri9sturma When I was there a few people did. But not too many. The most people stayed there between 4 weeks and 3 months.

Stond ef het toe dat de minderjarigen een weekend weg mochten blijven aangezien jij 17 was en je naar Disneyland en Universal Studios ging? Want ik hoorde dat minderjarigen in het weekend om 00:00 op de campus moeten zijn dus zou je alsjeblieft willen uitleggen hoe dat zit?? Hele toffe informatieve video was dit trouwens erg bedankt!!

Melissa hi! Ja dat is dan een overnight-stay en daarvoor vragen ze of je ouders een formulier in willen vullen. Dit gaat heel gemakkelijk via de mail. Ook wanneer jij een uitstapje maakt waarvan je niet zeker weet of jij vóór de curfew terug zal zijn dan zal ik dit gewoon altijd voor de zekerheid bij de studentenbalie aangeven, soms noteren ze dan alleen je naam en is het al oké. Maar als je dus een heel weekend weg bent dan hebben ze hier toestemming van je ouders voor nodig :) xx

Hi! I was just wondering if you had free time everyday after school? Like if I want to go shopping or something, will they let me go? (I would really love to go there next year, second semester, when I’m 16) By the way, really nice video! Thank you, it had helped me a lot so far :D

Leontyna Schmidtova hi Leontyna! Yess you are allowed to!! I always went to Lincoln road after school to drink some Starbucks coffee and shop!! So fun! It also depends on the coarse you take. I had an intensive coarse so I had a little less free time than when you would have a basic course, but still, I wasn’t complaining about the free time I had. I always went chilling on the beach, it’s so wonderful there! I would really recommend it :) Love, Iris❤️

Iris van Sambeek thank you!❤️ just one more question: Did the course also include other subjects other than english? Like maths, history, maybe other language, chemistry etc.? I’m asking because the school I go to is pretty hard 😅

Hi Annabel, ik zit zelf ook te denken om naar Miami te gaan maar weet het nog niet echt. Wat is jouw reden dat je daar naartoe gaat? Mij lijkt het super gaaf maar het is ook heel erg duur, hoe doe jij dat met de kosten? Zou jij mij willen dm op insta? Hey! I’m 16 and I’m planning to go to EF Miami soon. Did you have any free time during the day after classes? Could you go somewhere alone in Miami or you had to stay with staff all the time? Reply please 🙏

Hey! Yesss we had many free time! No only had to arrange something when I had an overnight stay somewhere, like we went the weekend to Orlando. Than the staff requires a written permission from your parents from you. And you can’t leave EF after 11pm (curfew), but that’s all. You’re free to go wherever you want between classes :) no supervision whatsoever

Yes ik ging alleen en nee! Je krijgt van te voren een login tot een online platform waarop je kan zien wie er de zelfde periode als jij gaat. Daar zag ik twee nederlandse namen tussen staan, dus ik had hun van te voren al een fb berichtje gestuurd. Dus ik 'kende' er al mensen toen ik aankwam, wat heel fijn was. Ook op de campus zelf is vrienden maken heel makkelijk. Iedereen zit in het zelfde schuitje. Ik ben ook hele goede vriendinnen geworden met mijn Canadese kamergenootje.
