Hi Mark. Application for Fall usually opens around November/ December. I advice you check the admissions page of the program of your choice so you don’t miss out on the registration. LOA is sent by institutions and you have to pay for an application fee to be considered, so you cannot get a free LOA legally. Hope this helps!

Hello Dipesh. You can choose your own schedule at Bow Valley College but generally, school is from Monday to Thursday, from 8am to 5pm. Hope this helps!

@@AlbEartha Is that the case for all classes? I got into CEA at BVC and I was also wondering what the schedule would be like.

@@bread_esu Usually classes are from 8am - 5pm for morning/afternoon classes and 6pm - 9pm for evening classes. The campus is open from Monday to Saturday. You have the ability to set your schedule at Bow Valley College because you enrol your courses individually. Classes are usually 3hrs a week so if the class if for 2 days, expect that you would spend 1.5hours a day in the class. I hope this helps

Hello there. I am not sure if you can use yung ATM card because I use my PH credit card sometimes for transactions. There is not much of a difference naman when I use my PH credit card kasi kung anong posted na ForEx sa bank, yun naman yung charges na lumalabas. As far as I know, hindi gumagana ang GCash. If wire transfer, I supposed you need to file yung application physically sa bank sa PH so I do not supposed pwede syang facilitate online or through the app. Hope this helps! 😃

Hello Dipesh. There are what we call core courses (1st year courses ideally -100 courses) and major courses (2nd year courses ideally - 200 courses). I advice you check on the course codes and see if they are 100 or 200 courses. You can also reach out to an academic advisor and ask for a program course recommendation for the breakdown of courses per term. You can also try to search the course breakdown for each term on a search engine. I found mine online and you should be able to find yours too! Thank you for your question and have a great day!

Hello! Yes, there is. For BVC for business students, it’s spring/summer break. At SAIT, it’s Fall term. You can check on the campus of your choice 😁

Hi! At the moment, with business program, co-op program is for domestic students. However, international students can join the mentorship programs and seek advice form the college’s career advisor for career related concerns. You can also confirm from the Bow Valley College website if the program you like offers internships/ placements. Hope this helps! 😁

Hello, sorry for the late response. Great question. It depends since both institutions offer different courses. If you’re coming to a country like the Philippines where “college” means any institution that offers tertiary education, then you can get a little confused. Here college means institutions offering diploma programs (2 year programs) while university offers bachelor’s programs and higher. So if you’re planning to take a 2 year program, BVC would be a better choice. I’m not sure if Mount Royal offers diploma programs. If you plan to study Bachelors or masters, definitely Mount Royal. Unless you want to take nursing. I think BVC offers nursing program, not MRU. I might be wrong tho. Hope this helps!

@@carmss I attended a meeting where program chairs of each department is kasama and they explained yung expectations of each major. From there, I saw myself working sa Supply Chain industry kaya I decided to take it as my major ☺️

Hello Tel! I took 5 courses on my 1st and 2nd term. I followed the course recommendation for my program. Then I took 2 courses during spring. For my last year, I took 4 courses each term (fall and winter). Hope this helps

Hello Joy. Based on my experience, yes. Supply chain is heavy in math since we usually quantify attributes and variables to produce objective resolutions. However, don’t be discouraged because instructors are patient and open to questions you may have, specially if you are going to study at Bow Valley College

@@overthinkermompreneur If there is an opportunity to take co op, I support kasi for what heard, co op is similar to practicum. I do not have co op sa major ko, and based sa current policy, co op is offered to PR/citizens for certificate programs. I know people who took General Business for their major. They said na it is kind of broad, although it is good if you want to know a little bit of everything about sa business 😄 Hope this helps!

@@girlieann0904 I don’t advise that you bring a printer. Most of the assignments and school work are submitted online. The only time I used a printer is when I printed out copies of my resume and return labels. You can print for “free” at the central library. Free coz every month you have a 5 dollar print credit as long as you are registered
