Hey, so straight up, its not worth as much the degree from the UK campus. This is partially because of teaching standards but i believe mostly because of the lower entry requirements in Dubai! Now its not so bad like the degree is worthless. Its actually good, but not as good as the UK, which is also reflected with the price difference if you were to study there. Big pro of studying in Dubai is you'll get chances to network here for 3 years before working if thats where you want to live and work. Major con is theres no long term plan in Dubai. You wont be able to settle here. Once you leave/lose your job, you have to leave. Personally, im happy with the course. Teachers are friendly and help out if you ever need them, which is very handy foe assignments. I like the fact that our university has people of many cultures too. You get to make a lot of friends if youre open to it. What im not happy with is the fact that not a lot of the internship opportunities they offer really help you if youre in your 1st/2nd year since most companies want 3rd year or graduates. Completely changing topic, ive noticed that most students here never planned on studying in dubai. It was their Plan B.. Or C, or D or ... You get it.. It is VERY easy to get in here, which is why the standard to students here is low. Generally, if you can, try to study outside Dubai to avoid getting yourself into the international university trap here. I'd say ONLY join here if youre eligible for a good scholarship or your sure your grades arent good enough for better universities abroad

If you have friends or family here, I suggest you seek their help with connections.. Everyone here has an edge over you with their connections.

As I don't have any relations there, so is it possible to get an on campus job while studying?

this uni is very v v expensive btw and compared 2 what they efford that's nothing tbh and it's really hard 2 find jobs and they don't give students jobs unless u are an intern and it's not paid btw the chances for u to get any job spch inside any uni or hospital it's very low if u don't have any certification or past actual experience sometimes u need connection on top of that also depends on the company and how accepting they are sooo 🙄
