1.Yes there is entry scholarship table just go and look to university website.If you secure “X %” you will get ..... It’s pretty forward and fixed already.2.Yes HK is the most viable for scholarship but it is renewed early because it’s based on Sem gpa ,you don’t get 4 years scholarship in the first hand.3.Yes HK is safest city .4.Yes extra curricular really matter ,really matters.5.NO , if you are in Tech and did BBA in CS you are not bother by language.6.And HKU (HKUST /City U) is the rank 1 target school in HK so job opportunities are a lot.7.Work as a research assistant in HKU ,that’s what my colleagues in HKU did.8.Part time salary is not enough even the internship especially for international student.9.But if you secure job in BB ,you are set for your life and it’s like the salary to US.10.Protest is not deciding factor because there is no much influence but COVID have severally affected it. 11.But the protest were happen not just in one part ,even HKU HKPOLYU and other were indulge .Advice just choose BBA in CS or Engeering to avoid language barriers.

@@ishantripathi1023 my percentage was 97.6% in 12th cbse board. For scholarship, u need to have minimum 97% in your 12th grade. 97% : 100% scholarship 98% :120% scholarship 99% : 150% scholarship

@@ishantripathi1023 no, as I was already having my final 12th scores, so they didn't require interview. I did my 12th in 2023 and I applied to HKU after getting my 12th scores. Actually, I took a drop year. However,if u apply with predicted scores, then there will be a group interview.

exactly china is pretty f.. ed up we as international students cannot go to the universities in china. lives matters lot more than scholarships. we should look forward and get a secure and safe options for our career. If you want to come Hk and your background is in CS ,language would not be problem.In fact many of my Indian and Pakistani friend are easily hired compared to BBA in finance.Hope this helps and if you are genuinely interested why don’t you do proper research ,call to uni directly.In Hk they are super responsive and if you have top score,they will find you ,you don’t have to worry a lot.

I’m pursuing my bachelors in CS and i planning for a masters degree in Hongkong because it may be the scenario that the firms would not hire me on the basis of my Indian bachelors degree , so in order to get hired in Hongkong I am going to study masters in Hongkong. What are the chances of getting hired in CS field?

@ Kiran babu Just go to local universities website and search their.You can do back to back email to admission representatives,they are super responsive or have a call .For MBA it’s cost around HKD 585,000 .Unless you are fluent in Chinese,why don’t you apply to UK ,Australia ,Us and so on?

yes HK is usually very safe for international students and no u dnt have to study mandarin

You don’t have to study Chinese(Cantonese or Mandarin) because the medium of instruction is English .But to get high paid job it will be the one factor to hinder your progress.Of course there are many EU or many companies they are willing to hire but for BB,you learn it or have degree in Cs or don’t bother to think about it especially if you don’t have strong networking.This kind of videos are useful in grassroots level.If you genuinely interested just approach to University directly or approach some students from your country in Hk and have some chat , they might help you.And keep in mind there are 22 approved institutions but only 8 are local unis of which HKU ,HKUST and. CityU are target unis.

Both are fine and both are basic .I completed Python within 2 months in my uni life.

Take the cs option. You will get a great ROI because you are Canada PR. In long term the cs is better option than driving a truck.

Hey man it totally depends on your financial and family situation.If you have brothers and sisters to help it ,I personally feel you .So I advise degree is definitely worth it and you are on right track .Keep in mind you can earn later but cannot get the time back .So just take even part time BBA ,drive in evening or so and go on.

U can apply to YYGS yale young global scholar summer school program because aaayush sharma also go there in 2012 and he got selected in MIT because this was a national achievement and also there is opportunity to get a 100% scholarship

sat is optional for hong kong, if u have good marks in the 10th and 12th midterms and a good predicted score...it should be good enough. IELTS/TOEFL or 90+ in English boards is required for English proficiency.

Yes just add some experience.My colleague was also from India but she had solid experience in BB (UBS).There are many small private finance companies operated by Indians.

If you end up getting job in BB ,Big 4 or similar it’s relatively same irrespective of country .But if you have option why don’t you prefer USA?

Yeah the fees for international is damn expensive.If you don’t get entry scholarship or have strong financial support you are literally messed up because you don’t get student loan for international student in Hk.
