Studying the Bible 

I am in my late 50's. Been going to church since I was born. I thought I knew a lot. I'm ashamed I'm not where I should be. I have been looking for a new church but the preaching today is so carnal. I am so thankful to stumble on this teacher. God uses his words that point to God and touches my heart to repent and strive for a God honoring life. Thank you for being a light in this dark world. Even though you are gone, thank you God for still using this saint.

This man just came on my ear phones while I was in bed attempting to sleep. I had never heard of him but after a session with Dr. Andy Wood on angelologies, Dr. Pawson came on and I was blown away. What a blessing and astounding church he has now become one of my very few elected teachers along with my own wonderful pastor.

I felt so blessed the night I discovered Mr. Pawson; God rest his soul. I have learned more from his teaching in the last 2 months than I did my whole life under many other preachers and teachers. We need to share him because I feel he was revealed to us for such a time as this.

Wow, just wow! First time I saw Dr. Pawson's teachings about 23 years ago as a Bible College student. I was one of the international college students and we had Mr. Pawson's sermons as part of our curriculum after the classes. At first it seemed to be boring and not interesting, but then, later I found out it to be very interesting and very mesmerizing! Thank you brother David for your faithfulness to God in His ministry.

I just started reading this book this year and today decide to search for video teaching and here I am. Then later today I decided to see how old he is now and just saw that he passed away just a few days ago.

Gosh, I came here to thank him for sharing this, but reading the comments let me know that he died not long ago. I’ll ask God to thank him for me. I was taught the Bible THE WRONG WAY as a child, which made me grow into an angry atheist. I made fun of Christians a lot 😒 Three years ago, I had an experience with Jesus that changed me. His eyes were so full of a love that I cannot put into words. He knew me through to my soul, and he showed me that he loved me exactly the same, even when I hated Christianity! That kind of love will bring a person to their knees. How could he love me like that, even when I was so hateful towards anything biblical??? That’s unconditional love. My entire being wanted to worship Him.... But he wouldn’t let me kneel at his feet! He was actually kneeling at MINE! Incredible. He just wanted me to love him, and to be like him. Nothing more. I have been avoiding the Bible (outside of the gospels, I definitely see him in the book of John). The Old Testament can bring out the worst in people, especially when someone twists it to fit an agenda and spoon feeds this to a child in a negative way. I’m on a mission to see how my Lord fits into these Bible books, and why He let certain things be written. Mr. David managed to cut through at least two issues I’ve always had about the Bible since my childhood in this one video. I can see that for years to come, his teachings will be helping many people understand things in a way that most churches can’t. RIP sir ❤️

I discovered David Pawson through a Torben Sondergaard 's teaching, where he quoted the name " Pawson" as one of his references. I made a research by curiosity, and found this man, totally unknown in France. At the beginning, I found his teachings very hard, and after a while , I found it could save me.

Studying the Bible, I believe must be viewed in two major perspectives: As a library of separate booked, as he pointed out, that can be appreciated even by an Atheist Egyptologist for its unparalleled literature, historicity and accuracy; And as but one book with one author, one major character, one theme. To a spiritual man who by the help of the Holy Spirit is able to search the thoughts and Will of God to understand, be equipped, and be empowered to live by it.
