There r few people here who r talking shit about movie... But the reality was diff. Back then almost whole India loved that movie if u watched it now u will be definitely laughing but back then literally everyone enjoyed it. Some people's r just dumb or they likes to say yes to every white people statement. But believe me whole India loved koi mil Gaya. Also bollywood is way cheaper than Hollywood that too in those years.. common man atleast we need to respect Roshan family for pulling this up. This was the first SciFi movie I remember of...this movie brought a whole new subject matter .

Yeah it's something that crossed my mind before too. The bad guy murders someone no warning, right after that he lights up a cigarette we get the statutory warning. Murder is fine but smoking cigarette is a no-no. 😂
Censorship in India is to censor rude language(muted), offensive scenes (nudity scenes are given a cut), all women cleavage, thighs, navel, showing parts are blurred, violence scenes are cut as well, religious/communal sentiments if hurt; total movie is banned (even though film maker wants to tell real truths), sometimes even song lyrics are altered not to offend certain minorities.
