Did you consider the height of the rug nozzle from the floor. The dirt devil is auto adjusting. The Kenmore has an adjustable nozzle. Are you sure that the kenmore is matching the dirt devil?
I’ve got one of those Dirt Devil Featherlites but I can’t use it due to the insane CFM. It just suctions down to my carpet. Would you elaborate on where you placed the foam / how you stuck it in the baseplate?
All Dysons have low nozzle airflow which is why it fails with this specific test. My test carpet begins responding around 80-90 CFM, but what is really needed is 120 CFM or more. Not happening with bagless systems. Also, theDC65 brushroll does poorly on pile carpet. The only upright Dyson that does well on pile carpet is the Ball Animal 2. They changed the brushroll by making it more aggressive.
@@VacLab I agree. Dyson’s have very low airflow numbers. It just has something to do with how well the vacuum is designed and what type of system it’s using (bagged or bagLess). I honestly think the dc65 is an average vacuum cleaner but I think that more agitation helps with deep cleaning.
