I have a question regarding washing the octopus- how can you be sure that there is no moisture inside the head given that it is so tightly packed with stuffing?

Hi Gloria, I thought better of it, and decided not to link to specific products on our RU-vid channel. But I will tell you that the most popular tool is just a regular hardware store flat head screwdriver! Please join us on our Facebook group facebook.com/groups/octoforapreemieus/. There is a ton of great advice and tips to be found there. Several people have posted about their stuffing tools.

What is the requirement for type of stuffing to use?

Hi Susan, Please join us on our Facebook group: facebook.com/groups/octoforapreemieus/ for complete information regarding the materials we require. But most brand new, 100 percent polyester fiberfill, that is marked as hypoallergenic is ok. It should not be silicone coated. Several types are listed on our approved materials list, found in our Facebook group files.
