This beautiful old gothic revival farm house was built in the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. The house was built for a modest agrarian family, mostly farming corn and soybeans, owning large amounts of acres originally. Much of the original furniture still remains in the house among other antiques and some beautiful old architecture and unique woodwork. The farm remained in the same family for many generations until the final elderly couple passed away in the early 2000’s. Since then the house has been slowly crumbling away sitting idly like a time capsule as the world continues all around it. Very sad but incredible old place, so many things to love about it.
