Blimey they took there time to move off, i felt very sorry for the Gurkhas and the Rifles Band standing there in ranks in the heat of the sun in those uniforms that make them sweat and get dehydrated. If they are not going to move off for ages probably waiting for some prat officer from Sandhurst to arrive in his place, then the soldiers should be back in a air conditioned room until the officer is ready to move off. Those uniforms are very heavy and not really suitable for hot weather. I saw a video that was done exactly on a very hot day in Scotland where the Scottish regiment was doing the exact same thing but in more summer time uniform where the Regiment marched in short sleve shirts and there kilt. The soldiers were not wearing any coat or jacket on that hot day. 💂♂️💂♂️🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴🤝🤝🏴🏴
It's true that the most dangerous thing known to a soldier is an officer with a map. If you want to get it wrong involve an officer, if you really want to screw it up involve a politician
Same for the guards outside the palace and lining the street, many were overcome by the heat standing out for so long in full uniform including bearskin hats…. The one thing the Ghukas have is they come from a very hot climate, so when in their home country they are used to parading in the heat.
@user-hq6iw1yv4f this is a DISGRACE for UK get summer uniforms for these guys GROW UP UK YOU don't want them suffering from heat stroke you could be taken to court
@@lindylou7853 They are not armed. Mounted police used to carry long batons attached to the saddle. If you watch film of Cable street etc you can see them being used.
