Hello from Canada, Marta! Your garden looks great, lots of colour still. In my garden there are lots of dahlias still, blue and pink asters, pink Japanese anemones, salvia Black and Blue, and purple aconitum all still blooming away. There’s also gaura still blooming and a few roses too. Thank-you for the tour!
Marta your garden is so beautiful, all your hard work has resulted in a most wonderful garden display. Even at this time of year it looks amazing. I have serious garden envy! Please don’t stop sharing your magical garden with us! Thank you.
I got my hands on a tiny cutting of lemon coral sedum two years ago, late in fall and I had it as a regular houseplant, taking cuttings the whole winter and I had over 50 plants in spring the year after! It is easy to propagate and thrive in a bright spot. The fall after I just took two plants as houseplants and started all over again. So you will definitely get them to survive indoors.
The weather is so strange this year in Rhode Island. During the day we are still around 70 and at night into the high 30s. My dahlias are still colorful and pumping out blooms but everything else has petered out. A few shrubs I planted this year look great- weigela, viburnum, black lace elderberry, and the hydrangea with their rosey blooms. Hopefully next year they will put on more size. Your birch trees are so beautiful; the white papery bark jumps out of the landscape. ❤
To hear how the trees sold you on your property I do relate. My now 60 year old Willow sold us yet it’s leaf drop it’s age it’s all showing a bit of stress. What will the garden look without it😩. It’s got several good years hopefully I’ve time to make plans.
Hi Marta! Beautiful fall garden! 😍 The intentionality in planning your garden design truly shows. ❤️ Thanks for sharing! At 9:25…I didn’t quite catch the name of the dark grass in your black containers by the front door…are those Vertigo grasses?
Hi Marta your pink Heathers and Mums are gorgeous reminds me of Spring Summer not really Fall. You must really love pink. Have you consider using other colours for Fall?😊
I have two tamarack trees on my yard and they change to a beautiful golden orange colour. I love them but the needles do go everywhere when they drop now in the autumn.
