A two day traverse with a camp near the high point of the famous Scottish hill pass known as the Lairig Ghru from Linn of Dee (Braemar) to Coylumbridge (Aviemore).
The weather was perfect- warm, sunny weather in late May.

We used 2 cars- leaving one at the Coylumbridge side and one at Linn of Dee. The tent used was a Naturehike Cloud Up 2.
Safety note- the Cairngorms have the most savage climate in the UK with snow and extreme windspeeds (176 mph) possible almost year long. Many hillgoers have perished in these hills so be well prepared and competent to get yourself out of any situations that may arise.
