Hi @Expat Expat 😅 people here wants their skin to be whiter than usual or if not, does not want to darken it. Some just protect themselves from the heat stroke or skin cancer related to too much heat of the sun

@@manilagirltours8940 why is that? we are Pacific Islanders and are tan by nature. I was in CDO back in 2019 and I had a savage island tan and everywhere I go, people were staring at me. I was becoming perturbed by it.

Love the Catholic Churches. Truly beautiful. I attend a Missouri Synod Lutheran Church which is very modest. In St. Louis, Missouri we have the Old Cathedral and the New Cathedral. The New Cathedral (Cathedral Basilica) is amazingly beautiful. If you are "Curious" you might look it up. I was in a wedding at the Old Cathedral and attended a Christmas Eve Midnight Mass at the New Cathedral. Beautiful experiences with wonderful friends.

@@manilagirltours8940 Ahhh yes! I’ve been to Manaoag many many times.. I’ve seen it grow over the last 12 years that I’ve been traveling to the Philippines. Love it there. I also love this church in La Union called Agoo. Very peaceful. After that I always head over to Chow King for some Halo Halo! Hahahaha… 😄👍🏽

@@manilagirltours8940 Mang Inasal has good halo halo? I always go there for the amazing chicken. I think they originate in Iloilo? Would love to go there one day. I haven’t been so far. I remember a few years ago going to the actor Joe Torre’s restaurant. His chicken is similar to Mang Inasal. Really delicious! I’m hungry now! 🤣🤣😂

Some very beautiful churches there,and stores everywhere.It looks like it was a very hot day there,and you did alot of walking around.The third church you visited was so beautiful inside,and I guess there's a large catholic population there in th Phillipines. I see those silver busses everywhere,and the tuck tucks too,is that the major transportation for the masses,and are they free?That was a nice video,and that camera you use sure has a great clear picture.Happy easter to you,and your family as well.🙂

Hi @david liles its usually not free 😊 nowadays, since the "jeepneys" are only few, electric cars made by elon musks, the tuck tucks, the tricycles, and the buses became the main means for transportation of commuters. These usually costs less than a $1 aside from the taxi cabs. Its hot, but i enjoyed walking still 😁 thanks for always watching! 😊🙏💗💙💛🍿

I remember San Sebastián church ,it was brought to the Philippines by the Spanish piece by piece and assembled in that place ,Considering the size of the Spanish Galleons at those time 🤣😅🤣,also the Black Nazarene from Mexico,According to history it was design in Belgium and the only steel church in Asia 💕I really missed the Philippines

Also too, the original altar for San Sebastian was lost during a storm on its way to Manila. When I retire I'm hoping too hook up with like minded treasure hunters in the Philippines to search for sunken Spanish galleons during the Manila Galleon trade era. I'm all about history.
