The bassist's name is Pedro Aznar, he played with Path Metheny and in addition to forming a duo with Charly on the Tango IV albums, he made his solo career, Pedro is very great!!
Yesss!... Please!. INVISIBLE of Spinetta . Can be too: "Suspensión" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fONk0v6yaOM.html, or another from INVISIBLE
I want to see your face Shining like a black slave Smiling heartily, baby Far, far from home I have no one to accompany me To see the morning Nor to give me the injection on time Before my heart rots Nor to warm these cold bones Baby I want to see you naked The day when the bodies parade That have been saved Baby On some highway That has infinite signs That don't say anything And I really want you to laugh And say that it's just a game Or kill me this noon Baby Entering the room (flying low) The lark is already near your bed, baby I want to stay (don't say anything) Wait for the shadows to be gone, baby Don't you see my blue cape? My hair down to my shoulders The fatal light The avenging sword? Don't you see how white I am Don't you see? Don't you see how white I am Don't you see? I want to burn little by little The sails of the ships anchored In frozen seas, babe This winter was bad And I think I forgot my shadow In a subway And your legs are getting longer They know I can't go back The city is pissing itself with laughter Babe
An very emo song by seru giran is "viernes 3 am", is a song about a guy and a gun, even was censored by the dictatorship. I recomend you to translate the lyrics before hearing
Yes! I think you would really like this song! And also "Cinema Verité" and "Canción de Alicia en el país", which apart form being two of my favorites can show you the variety of creative genius of Charly and this band.
Me encantó tu video y espero mas reacciones a Charly.
On November 6, 2023, the city of New York officially named Walker St. And Cortlandt Alley as CHARLY GARCIA CORNER, on the 40th anniversary of the release of the CLICS MODERNOS album (the photograph of the cover of the album was taken on that corner)
Truly a great reaction! Pedro's bass tone is also achieved trough a Chorus pedal. I'm sure "Ah, te vi entre las luces" by Charly's La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros is a grrat prog choice. Or, you can dive into Charly solo career (starting 1981). The other grrat of Arhentina is Luis Alberto Spinetta. You can try something by his prog band Invisible or by his jazz rock band Spinetta Jade. Congrats!
Pedro Aznar is one of the world's great bassists. He was part of the Pat Metheny group when Jaco Pastorius left the band. You should react to "Pedro Aznar - Mientes - Encuentro en el estudio" a song from his solo stage.
Charly García is one of the greatest musicians of all times, for me. I've heard all of his albums from all of his different stages and bands and he allways is unique and super creative
Great reaction Dude ! Now listen " Noche de perros " by Seru even by David Lebon with Lito Vitale and Walter Malosetti ( live in a study ) ...is really a masterpiece
From Seru Giran I would recommend " Cancion de Alicia en el Pais","Desarma y Sandra", "Encuentro con el Diablo", "Frecuencia Modulada", "Autos ,Jets, Aviones y Barcos". I could name many more but thath's a good starting point. From Charly solo work "Piano Bar", "Cerca de la Revolucion", "Funky", "Pasajera en Trance", "yendo de la cama al living"
Seru Giran's bassist was the great Pedro Aznar, he was Pat Metheny's bassist, Perdo also has very good recording works that you can enjoy, as well as guitarist David Lebon.
You can check a couple of great bands from Argentina, One is called Crucis with the song pollo frito (fried chicken) and anotthes is called Aquelarre with siesta cambiada
Seru Giran was one of the best band in music' history. 4 Superhéroes. Charly García was the great leader and top 5 music in history. Charly write this master piece.
I'm not sure if it's because I'm an old fart now (and I emigrated far from my Country 30 years ago) that I get very emotional at getting to listen all this music I grew up with but seeing the appreciation you have in your reactions. Thank you for keeping this music alive!!!!!
if you feel encouraged to explore and know more of Latin America, it is a must to react to SODA STEREO , song Profugos, ( live Me veras volver ) or En la Ciudad de la Furia ( the same live ). A supreme icon of Latin America and Argentina as well. It is undoubtedly the best band in Latin America and one of the best in the world.
Hola amigo Marcabusi. Gracias por reaccionar a Charly Garcia. Hermosa cancion y el gran Pedro Aznar exepcional. Felicitaciones por los genios argentinos. Saludos desde Chile.🇦🇷👌🇨🇱
Of course argentinian genius are most underrated musics ever, since their music practically didn't cross any frontier because of the "market logic", even their public was a few people and practically just in the capital city, Buenos Aires. This was made under bloody dictatorship and that is the other big factor. By Charly, you must listen "Hipercandombe" by his earlier band "La máquina de hacer pájaros" and "promesas sobre el bidet" from his solo career. Then you have the messianic Spinetta, and if you want to REALLY blow your mind, try his surrealistic "Cantata de puentes amarillos" realeased in 1973 when he was only 23 years old!!! Cheers!!!! 🎉❤
Great! I'll check it out!! So i vote the full álbum reaction to "Películas" where that song was released, and by Serú Giran "Canción de Alicia en el país" , if you translante the lyric you Will understand much More about the dictatorship ambient in which the youth and rock musicians were persecuted and writing "between línes" to avoid censorship. To me Is THE song that better describes the anwish of that era. A clue: the kick drum is a heartbeat that represents the Paranoid and anxiety and permanent state of "alert\alarm" . And don't miss Spinetta's "Cantata de puentes amarillos"! I don't think even 50 years later there's a composition similar to it in any way ! Charly Is a genius, Spinetta was like a falling star, some kind of ángel who's creations we are still trying to understand. Congrats for your channel and openess of mind! 👏👏👏
The other band of Argentina you reacted to was Invisible. The song Perdonado, withLuis Alberto Spinetta. Eti leída IS lovley and Pedro playing the bass....There are some good suggestions. Charly IS agenious and a a real caracter. I havealready suggested from Spinetta a song from a group he had before Invisible , Post Crucifixion from Pescado Rabioso, great riff. As always a great reaction, realy enjoyed It.
Dude, You should Listen La Maquina de hacer pajaros, another band from Charly Garcia. The name of the song is: Ah te Vi entre las luces!. Put your headphones, roll one, and enjoy the journey ! a warming hug from Argentina dude, enjoy our music!
Enjoyed every second, and enjoy your reactions to our rock bands. Spinetta, Garcia and Cerati are and was the greatest artist in our music. Greetings from Argentina, nice reaction.
It is incredible how many English speakers angry with the result of the famous new wave contest underestimated Charly García as the "meme man" and did not give his work a chance. Good for you Markabusi
Gracias
SERU GIRAN is a huge superband in every sense of the word, Argentine National Rock has nothing to envy of Anglo-Saxon rock & roll, I would like to see you react to more Argentine Rock SERU GIRAN esuna enorme superbanda en todo el sentido de la palabra el Rock Nacional Argentino no tiene nada que envidiarle al rock& roll anglosajon , me gustaria verte reaccionar a mas Rock Argentino
Well, you NEED to listen more of Serú Girán. Also, I strongly recommend: - Charly García as a solist - La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros - Luis Alberto Spinetta - Invisible - Spinetta Jade - Pescado Rabioso Besides from that, this is the song where Pedro Aznar made me start playing the bass.
Welcome to the vortex of Argentine Rock, you will never escape. As far as pronunciation, it's seh-ROO hee-RAN - perhaps the best all-around band ever in Argentine Rock.
That's right, Mark. They are an Argentine band from the 80s. Formed by Pedro Aznar on bass, Oscar Moro on drums and David Lebon on guitar. Obviously, Charly on keyboards. Pedro Aznar with his band: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s-2M9A_pvcA.html&start_radio=1 y de Charly "Funky": ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8OcKBa9QYaI.html
