@@richardcrows7245 my dentist said you can get a decent 10-11 years out of them if you really care for them and avoid things that stain them. but after that time you’ll have a few that will need replacement. chips and small breaks usually happen in the first year because you’re still getting used to them and can eat things like you normally would have and it can cause a small bit of damage but most dentists here offer free repairs for the first 12 months. it’s an investment in yourself 🤗🙏🏻

Mine has last 20 years, it does absorb stains, same as enamal and cannot be bleached if you want then whiter,, so other than brushing surface stains away, you are kind of stuck with it. But mine are barely chipped, not noticable to others after 20 years
@@autumnhammond4427 Good, so glad to hear this. I have Tetracycline staining on my teeth and was looking into this to fix that. If they still go yellow there's no point. I will then just have vastly more expensive stained teeth rather than just plain old stained teeth. ha ha.
Do nottttt do this!!! Composite is way more fragile than normal tooth structure! It will chip and break, and not to mention turn yellow over time with habits such as drinking coffee and smoking :(
